Set back from the road in a sparsely inhabited neighborhood you can enjoy spectacular unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, crashing surf, sunsets and moonsets with a degree of privacy rare to this coastal region. Away from city lights and city traffic the dark nighttime sounds are those of wind, waves and the occasional sleepy cries of sea birds and sea lions.

This home is one of only a few licensed short term rentals in this ocean front portion of Pacific Grove. The living room, sunroom, kitchen and two of the three bedrooms have full ocean and sand dune views allowing one to observe the ever varying parade of wildlife – marine, aerial and terrestrial: whales, porpoises, sea lions, sea otters; pelicans, cormorants, shore birds; black-tailed deer, bush rabbits, raccoons, coyotes. The third bedroom has partial ocean views. A private enclosed back yard with bird feeders and bird baths provides a sanctuary for a diverse assortment of resident and migratory species. The home is steps away from tide pools, rocky and sandy beaches and the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreational Trail It is located mid-way between the PG municipal and Spanish Bay golf courses. and other local golf courses are only minutes away by car.

The home ambiance is intimate, cozy and comfortable with an open kitchen-dining-living room floor plan, hard wood flooring and Persian carpets, original signed and framed artwork, hand crafted driftwood furniture and sculptures, custom-made closets and cabinets. The style is a tasteful fusion of Asian art, maritime and natural history representative of an authentic classic mid-century California Beach House. Two upstairs bedrooms each have Queen sized beds; a private half bath is included with the master bedroom while a full bathroom is adjacent to the second bedroom. Downstairs a bedroom with Double and Single beds is adjacent to the second full bathroom. quiet and private Pacific Grove beach get away
We just got home to northern Marin County (north of the Golden Gate Bridge) and miss this great place at the beach already! The owner Valerie was so inviting and gracious. Her home had room for at least 6 guests and i had rented it for two couples, but it was just the two of us as our friends who had planned to join us had to cancel due to a health issue. The home had everything you could possibly need and all the appliances worked perfectly, the beds were comfortable and the heater worked well. The weather cooperated with just the expected morning fog but it was light and cleared off each day. This morning it was not at all cloudy. The proximity to the beaches and Asilomar State Park beaches couldn't be any better. Walk to the end of the private driveway, cross Sunset Drive and you're there, with miles of groomed trails and easy access to the tide pools at low tide. We will definitely consider coming back to this nice older home that has been in the same ownership since it was built. The owner told us that her Dad built much of the furniture and cabinetry himself in his attached workshop. This is a very peaceful and private space, sitting on 2 acres of native plantings, with a couple young bucks (black tail deer) grazing each afternoon and night and we never heard the nearby neighbors.

Long weekend getawa
Fantastic. Perfect for my elderly parents and the next generation. The sunset views are beautiful and it’s quiet. Great place to relax and kick back. It is the owners home and a very comfortable home with a lot of family history. Absolutely would come back again.

Comfortable home in a stunning location
We spent a wonderful long weekend at this home. Valerie was a welcoming and attentive host. The kitchen was well stocked. We slept well to the lull of the ocean, which can be heard from all the bedrooms. Incredible views in a quiet neighborhood with access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

Spectacular views!
The home owner went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had a quiet and relaxing time as we enjoyed the beautiful views from almost every window in the home. With the beach and coastal trail only steps away, we were able to explore the beautiful California coast!
