Getaway 52

Loved the condo! Very clean and well stocked. Great patio for sitting outside and enjoying the weather. This was our second time at Sleepy Hollow and we just love it! It’s a great resort with great amenities and a great place for families! Definitely hope to return!

Hidden Gem!

Our family has been coming up to South Haven for years and this was our first time at Sleepy Hollow. It was just perfect! So many great memories to hold onto for years to come. We will definitely be back!

Arrived before our unit was available, but had access to the grounds for our kids to play on the playground equipment and explore. The beach was great, kids enjoyed the large pool. Basketball court was used daily by our son. Kids tie-dyed shirts during the kids activities. Our unit was clean and perfect for a family of 5 with younger kids. Would definitely recommend to others and plan on coming back again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A perfect spot for a family vacation. The living space of the house is small, with a very small TV.Kitchen is open-concept and brand new! One bedroom/bath combo was quite large and comfortable. The bunk room, with double beds, was very small, attached to a very small bathroom. NO room to put things, so challenging if there are more than two adults in there. Property is fabulous. Staff is extremely accomodating and professional, and really work to ensure that everything you need is available. Highly recommend Sleepy Hollow for a week of relaxing and enjoying Michigan.We will be back!

Little things matter

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The HVAC was not working - should have been checked before we arrived. When reported, the guy didn't show up until the second call, then the HVAC repair people needed to be contacted. After some confusion withthe keys, he was able to get the unit working in a reasonable time. One of the closests was locked because it contained owner's stuff - making it unavailable - but not a big deal. Also the lockbox is tricky to close when done - should have given better instructions (most of the renters in our party had noted their frustration). Still it was a very pretty resort; and other than a very uncomfortable bed, the stay was good.

The unit was comfy, and we had what we needed to enjoy ourselves. My only recommendation is to upgrade some of the kitchen supplies. The blender wouldn't blend 2 ice cubes, and eating hot food off of plastic plates was not desirable for us. The unit and lovely kitchen are too nice for such cheap dishware.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed to arrive and find that the lake level was so high and that the stairs were roped off at the bottom. I realize that you have no control over lake levels, but we believe we should have been told as it might have affected our decision to come there. This is information that should be provided to renters. It seemed dishonest not to mention it. Also - prices should reflect that this is no longer a BEACH resort. Really changes the experience to have no beach - especially since it is marketed this way.Also - very parsimonious with the toilet paper and soap. For this price, these things should be generously supplied.Last- pool looks like it needs maintenance. Rusty sides and bottom.

We had plenty of room so everyone could eat at once. We had family in another unit so we had company sometimes for dinner. The pool was wonderful and our little children had plenty of room to float around. We can't say enough about the beautiful grounds and the way they were cared for. Flowers and flowering trees added to the beauty of the place.

A nice short walk to the parking, main road and playground and pool. A little bit further from the beach access, but not a problem. Immaculately clean!

We loved having the heated pool and the beach. The staff was very helpful whenever we had a question. I also emailed them ahead of time and asked for a fishing charter recommendation. Their recommendation was super. We would stay here again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: VERY family friendly resort. My 3 kids loved being able to roam around the property and enjoy all the amenities. Great playground, big heated pool, lots of sports equipment, and of course beautiful beach. Rental unit was comfortable and very cute. Weather was beautiful so it was nice to be able to grill & eat most meals on the patio. No lake views from this unit, but we would choose it again if it was available. Definitely want to visit Sleepy Hallow with our kids again.
