Nestled on a shared tropical private half-acre. Hawaii-born and raised Owner lives in the private Main House at the opposite end of the half-acre property. Your own Hawaii Concierge can also reserve & ticket all Maui activities. You'll find high beam ceilings with remote control ceiling fans in every room. A full kitchen with Granite countertops, oven, microwave oven, ice maker, and dishwasher. Open floor plan with Koa wood floors and custom tile bathroom. Two sliding glass doors lead to your private deck(Lanai). A gas BBQ grill, washer & dryer, Outside shower, and access to the pool and POOL deck 9 am to 8 pm daily with a water slide. THE HEATED POOL IS SHARED WITH OWNERS ONLY, NO OTHER RENTALS ARE ON THE PROPERTY. If we happen to be at the pool please join us. Most of the time we do leave once we know you are home. If you wish to rent a private house with a totally private pool then you will have to keep looking for another property that will cost you over 1000.00 a night here on Maui. Please know this is our home and we are sharing it with you. Located within 1 mile of Beaches, Restaurants, Grocery Stores, and World-Class Wailea Resort. The cottage has Wi-Fi.
SINCE CONVID 19 WE HEIGHTEN CLEANING IN OUR COTTAGE FROM HERE ON OUT. WE WILL CHANGE THE BEDSPREAD AFTER EVERY GUEST. EVERY THROW RUG WILL BE CLEANED AND DISINFECTED. ANTIVIRUS SPRAYS TO CLEAN ALL BATHROOM AND KITCHEN SURFACES ALONG WITH ALL DOORKNOBS AND REMOTES. SHEETS AND TOWELS WILL BE WASHED IN ANTIBACTERIAL SOAPS.
As of JUNE 15TH 2021, WE HAVE CONVERTED THE POOL TO A SALTWATER POOL SO NO MAJOR CHEMICALS. FYI,I MAKE THE CALENDAR AVAILABLE 18 MONTHS OUT. TRAVEL IS HARD WITH COVID SO I DON'T WANT TO BE TOO FAR IN ADVANCE


House Rules: We are in a working community so quiet time is before 8 am and after 10 pm, please. That's why we are the perfect property to relax and enjoy your vacation. We have a wonderful pool water feature and the pool is heated. Why heat a pool in Hawaii? The pools can drop 15 degrees during our winter months. So it's important to find that out when reserving a hotel or house in Dec, Jan, Feb, and March in Hawaii. The pool is open from 9 am to 8 pm but the pumps for the waterfall and slide turn off at 5 pm, you can still use the pool. Just can't have pumps going more than 8hrs a day for the slide. The pool is 36 feet long 3 1/2 feet to 7 1/2 feet deep. Once again I will mention the pool is shared with only us the owners. We have been asked by a few guests if they can hang out after 8 pm. The reason we have that in place is our community is like an amphitheater sounds travels far. Some guests were being very loud and our neighbors weren't too happy about the noise. With that said PLEASE don't have your children screaming while at the pool, again remember your booking in a working family community. So maybe a hotel would be a better fit if you're looking to party after 8 pm or have children that have to scream the whole day in a pool.

In Bedroom 2 there is a Berth Bed with a Twin Mattress which is perfect for a teen or child, not an adult. The mattress is a regular twin size. You need to be honest about how many guests are in your party, we live on the property so we will know. You can't show up with more people than you advise us is in the party. We will ask you to leave if not honest. We want no one sleeping on the sofa or air mattresses.
