Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear the space worked well for your fishing trip.
We did want to clarify that the listing photos and description are available prior to booking and show the exact room setup, including the two beds and the small kitchenette. The listing also clearly states that the room is approximately 330 square feet so guests can understand the size and layout before making their reservation.
Most of our rooms at this property feature either a king or queen bed, but the room you selected does have two beds, which can be a great option for guests who prefer separate sleeping arrangements. We understand that this setup may not have been what you expected, but we do our best to provide accurate photos and details so guests can choose the space that best fits their needs.
We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your future travels.

Melissa, thank you for the nice review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and thought it was cozy, calming, and clean. We hope that you will come stay with us again.
Great place to stay, easy check in, perfect location. Everything was great except we didn’t have enough towels and never heard back from management when we reached out for an extra. Would book again!

Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing to stay with us! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the space, the smooth check-in, and the great location.
We sincerely apologize for the towel shortage and the lack of response when you reached out — that’s not the experience we aim to provide, and we’re addressing it with housekeeping to ensure better communication moving forward. We truly appreciate your understanding and are so glad to hear you’d consider booking again. We’d love the chance to host you in the future and provide an even better stay!
Very cozy spot in a great location! Host was extremely communicative and helpful. The WiFi was very intermittent, but this was communicated early and doesn’t seem to be a consistent issue. Solutions were provided, so we still get well taken care of. Overall a great spot for a weekend getaway!

We really appreciate your review! Happy to hear you loved the location and felt well taken care of, even with the temporary WiFi issue. Thanks for being understanding - we’d love to host you again.
Redstone was the perfect town, and Mary’s Redstone was the perfect place to stay in Redstone. Clean , simple, with all you need to come back to and relax after a day of sightseeing. From reservations to checkout, the process was easy an non-stressful. Thanks
once housekeeping heard of our concern about a broken Keurig, it was replaced right away. Lighting in kitchen is nil and needs to be added. Hot water availability varies and needs time to warm up. Beautiful location and small town! Pizza is outstanding Well stocked country store!
This village was most adorable and conveniently located to many of the outdoor plans that we had on our itinerary. The room looked just as the advertisement and it was very clean and welcoming. It took us a minute to figure out the hotplate and there was no AC, but you really didn't need it- plus there were fans in the room. Other than that it was a nice relaxing get away from hotels and condos we stayed at during the rest of our trip. Our place was right on the water and my friend and I spent a lot of our time out there after our day of hiking/exploring. Even the thunderstorm was relaxing and put me to sleep. We enjoyed our stay at the Retreat. If ever we're in the area again, I would definitely stay there again.
The room is motel sized but it is well equipped and has everything you need. The kitchenette has a microwave, small fridge and a cooktop. A small pot would be a helpful addition... the only pots are rather large. The room is nicely decorated and the bathroom is super clean and new. The shower head is excellent! The motel sits on the river and the backyard along there is an idyllic setting. Now my only complaint... and it’s a big one... is that the beds are way too soft and you tend to list to one side. The bed near the window is also very creaky as you get in and out, annoying to your partner in the middle of the night. Still I would stay there again as it is reasonably priced and in a beautiful area. Nicole was also easy to reach and had helpful information.

It wasn't clear that this was a 2nd floor room in a motel-like setting. .....where did 'villas' come from? Beds were tolerable for one person, not great and definitely not for two. Minimal cookware and utensils, small fridge, no ice trays. It was a disappointment, but we obviously were expecting too much for a modest cost.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the accommodations didn't meet your expectations.
We do strive to accurately represent the space in both our photos and listing description. The listing identifies the unit as a 330-square-foot studio, and the photos show the layout, including the two twin beds that were selected for your reservation.
While the studio is designed to provide a comfortable, budget-friendly stay with basic kitchen essentials, we understand that every guest's expectations and preferences are different. We're sorry that the space wasn't the right fit for your needs.
We appreciate your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.
This property is perfect for Redstone. There are no high end resorts in Redstone, but this one come really close. The grounds are awesome. We visited over the 4th of July and really enjoyed the fresh cut flowers from their garden. The back yard area was so nice. It sits right on the river. Our room had a large window that we could open for fresh air and to hear the River at night. Rooms are seemingly recently remodeled with tasteful manufactured wood floors, new appliances in the kitchenette, and nice heavy glass shower doors. Reality exceeded expectations as it relates to the pictures on the listing and what actually was there. Great location (although Redstone isn’t that big).
Loved it and we will be back!!

We really enjoyed staying at this studio apartment. Didn't realize it was on the 2nd floor of a renovated complex but that was fine (used the stairs). Lovely corner unit overlooking the river and has a quaint church next door. Fall colors glowing through the windows. Super clean. Kitchenette just right. Satellite TV very sporadic at times but then you are in a remote Redstone valley. Beads comfy even if the one near the window squeeked a bit. Would definitely stay here again.
