We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at this property in Sugar Mountain and will definitely save for future vacations. Easy in and out and super close to the mountain. The house had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely quiet home in great location!
This was the perfect spot for a quick three day getaway. The home is lovely and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking at home when we decided to dine in. The deer family that visited daily was such a great treat! You can’t beat the location as it is so convenient to everything yet feels remote and peaceful. We will definitely be back.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The home was lovely and decorated well. The kitchen had very nice upgraded pots, pans, utensils, and appliances. The beds were comfortable as well as the couches. The home was clean and has been well taken care of. The only problem we had was a tree in the driveway when we arrived that was taken care of the next day. The property was close to downtown and many attractions not far away. We have always wanted to take in the Wooly Worm Festival and we were not disappointed! The tree colors were spectacular! 10 out of 10 recommend staying here!!
Great location, just minutes from ski resort. Apple TV in living room not working, couldn’t watch tv during our stay. Also not enough trash bags, toilet paper or paper towels, bring extra. I also called about garbage and was never given an answer as to where to throw it away. Overall the house was cozy.

This was a perfect place for the four of us to stay and use as a home base while we explored the Banner Elk and Boone area. It is conveniently located for a variety of activities and was a comfortable and clean house with plenty of room for the four of us.

First time in the snow!
We really enjoyed the cabin. It was clean, great back window view and was spacious for our family.
I enjoyed this properties location and especially enjoyed how clean the house was upon arrival. The only issues I experienced was extremely low water pressure in the master bathroom however the experience was overall extremely positive. I wish instructions were more clear on how trash was supposed to be handled but otherwise it was a great location and I’d love to stay again.

Aleksandar, thank you for staying with us! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! We're so sorry for any confusion regarding the trash. Bagged trash must be removed from the property and taken to the garbage collection site and is required to be removed from each free-standing home. There are trash houses for your associated complex and if the trash houses are full, they can be taken to the Sugar Mountain Trash receptacle. This information can be found in our Trip Manager after booking. We encourage guests to reach out to our 24-hour Customer Service line with any questions or concerns. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again in the future!

Great experience
This cozy, comfortable home was perfect for our family of four, and it could comfortably hold a few more. The house is in great condition. Very clean. Very comfortable. Nice kitchen. Great deck on the back. Wifi. Bose sound system with tv. Very short drive to Grandfather Mountain and a number of other attractions. We definitely will look to stay here again in the future and definitely felt like it represented a really nice value.
We enjoyed our weekend at this rental. The house was clean and roomy. The beds were comfortable. We hiked during the day and played cards in the evening. This is the perfect place to vacation if you live to be outdoors. Ample linens and dishes. I especially appreciated having small containers of soap for washing dishes and sponges. You don’t get that in every rental.
We were late getting in the first night. It was dark and difficult to find the house. That’s no one’s fault. But it’s good for future renters to be aware that the house is hard to find in the dark the first time.
I have the VRBO app on my phone. I don’t really want to add apps from the management companies. I’d prefer other ways to communicate than having to add a company’s app to my phone when I am under a limited contract with that company.
