Enjoy sweeping mountain views from the furnished deck while you sip your morning coffee, then walk to the Olde Beau Resort to make your tee time or take a dip in the seasonal community pool. After an eventful day of leaf-peeping along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, or touring a local winery, relax around the seasonal gas fireplace with loved ones and watch a movie. Lovely Mountain Getaway

We had a lovely stay with stunning views. The unexpected snow was a bonus, and the community cleared and salted the roads, so we had no issues getting in our out.

Wonderful Stay!!!!!

Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice! The home is great and the view is spectacular! It's a nice quiet resort and an easy drive to Elkin if you need to do some shopping. The Host was great to work with and communicated well.

Beautiful cottage with magnificent views. Cottage was very spacious and clean. The quiet neighborhood was great for relaxing. Communication was excellent. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Can we just live here forever??

Brian’s cottage was THE perfect find for everything we had hoped to do on our long weekend escape to the mountains. As soon as we entered and had a look around we knew we had picked the right place! The house exceeded expectations on cleanliness and amenities. The living area opens to a nice sized deck with plenty of comfy seating. You’ll see some of the most beautiful night skies and sunrises overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. There’s also a nice shaded patio on the lower level with lounge chairs for the warmer days. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. I would suggest bringing extra rolls of paper products for kitchen and bath. Even though we only used the upstairs bedrooms, it was very nice having the extra living area and bedroom downstairs. This would’ve been the perfect place for a 3rd couple or extended family. The only areas for improvement would be the need for towel hooks in the 2 smaller bathrooms as we had nowhere to hang our towels; and an accessible closet for clothes in the smaller upstairs bedroom (it was locked so we couldn’t use it). There were a variety of dining options and grocery stores within 15-30 mins of us in the towns of Elkin and Sparta. If you enjoy seafood, you have to try Pirates Landing in Elkin. They have a variety of food in an entertaining atmosphere. We were even visited by a pirate and his wench doing magic tricks while we were eating :) Some of the highlights from our stay - Golfing at Olde Beau - Our husbands were impressed with the course and the amazing views. There’s an interesting history of the course and how it got its name. Enjoying the on-site amenities - There are 3 pickleball courts, an indoor and outdoor pool and a small playground. We had the pickleball courts to ourselves for the few hours that we played. Lunch at the clubhouse grill - It was delicious. We ate on the patio overlooking the golf course. I recommend the burger and fries! Hiking to the vista overlooking the gorge - The trails range from easy to strenuous. We did 3.5 miles of the 5 mile loop that circles the community. The views were worth the climb! It’s a quick drive to Stone Mountain for more hiking opportunities and beautiful waterfalls. There are also a ton of wineries in the area. Roaring River, Jones von Drehle and Elkin Creek are my favorites! We had the most memorable trip and would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful view from deck

Property was clean and well appointed. Everything you need for a week's stay. We ate in most nights, since it is a fairly long drive to restaurants. There are lots of parks in the area which we visited. Very pretty scenery along the way. My wife and I are in our 80's, and I have some mobility issues, so it was challenging to navigate the steps from the driveway to the entry sidewalk, since there is no handrail on those steps. Overall, I would recommend this property, which is quite and safe in a gated community.

Cottage on the Greens

Olde Beau Cottage was very nicely decorated, gave a home-like feeling from the time you walk in. The beds are very comfortable, you have everything you need in the kitchen, and a beautiful big deck for gathering! Thank You to Bryan, our host, for being available and providing updates as needed. We had a very lovely stay and look forward to our return.

Bryan the owner was so easy to deal with during the stay. The residence was very clean and had everything that you would need for a weekend get away.
