About this property
Log cabin with amazing views!! (Pets welcome!)
Our beautiful log cabin is located on the top of a ridge on Bell Mountain, looking out over Stone Mountain State Park. It sits on 18 secluded acres, most of which drops off into the valley. At the base of the property runs a creek, which features a 7 ft waterfall with cold and refreshing water. There are both front and back porches, with the back porch views looking out over protected lands with mountains as the back drop.
There are two bedrooms with doors (one with a king bed and one with a queen bed). There is also a loft that is essentially another bedroom, with a queen bed and a full bathroom. The master bedroom also has its own bathroom, while the 2nd bedroom downstairs you must walk a few feet across the hall to access. We also off a queen size plush air mattress for an additional 2 guests (total 8), with a built in pump.
There is a well-equipped kitchen, with an old-style gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee pot. There is a table that seats 4, as well as a larger dining table that seats 6, but a leaf can be added to accommodate bigger groups. There is also an island with two stools at it. In the living room there is a couch and a love seat, with a 55" Roku tv w/ access to netflix/amazon etc (must login using your own accounts). There are some free channels with the tv as well. Also in the living room is a little breakfast nook overlooking the mountain views.
There is an outdoor fire pit and picnic table. Additional outdoor chairs available for bigger groups if needed.
There are corn hole boards at the property. There is also a grill that can be used if desired.
We are surrounded by nature here, including the 6,400-acre Thurmond-Chatham game lands, 14,000+ acre Stone Mountain State Park, 7,000+ acre Doughton Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is only approximately 20 miles from the house! We are also located near to the Yadkin Valley Wine Trail, a collection of 36+ wineries and vineyards. Stone Mountain Golf Club is just mnutes away, and the High Meadows Golf club is not far off either. Only 2.5 miles from the house there is access to a beautiful seasonally stocked trout stream.

We had a girls relaxing weekend away and had a great time! The views are great, the cabin is super spacious, kitchen well stocked, and it’s super secluded. I don’t think I’ve ever been somewhere so quiet! It really feels like the tippy top of the mountain.
Yes, Kai the host was great. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. The master retreat is excellent. Beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset. We will be back!
Cozy love the views. Shower door in the master bath was off track so used the other bathroom. Need to update pots and pans in the kitchen. But this is our 3rd time staying at this cabin and will stay again!

Fixed the shower and dropped off new pans today! Look forward to hosting you again!
Was very private and quiet. Excellent for a well mannered small pet. Swing on the back porch was very nice considering i had a couple that loved to sit and swing. Fire pit area could use some small lightning on way to it or some sort of path. Other than that the fire pit it self was nice. All in all i have no complaints me and my family enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful time at the Log Cabin. The space in the house was perfect for our family of 5 adults and a dog. We loved the back porch each morning on rocking chairs and the porch swing. In the evening the crickets singing was delightful. We played many rounds of corn-hole and hiked in Stone Mountain State Park. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable, and we would come back again! Thank you.
This was my second time staying at Kai’s cabin. Check-in was smooth, instructions and rules were clear, and we loved seeing the mountain laurel in bloom and hiking out to the waterfall. The cabin is charming and cozy, the view is incredible, and the kitchen has all the basics. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!
We absolutely loved the property and dealing with the host answering questions was top notch. Only down fall was being so far away from everything, but we knew that ahead of time.
The entire stay was a wonderful experience. The check in process was very detailed and easy. The property was beautiful and super clean. My favorite thing was the view from the back porch. One of the breakers tripped during our stay and the owners responded almost instantly to tell us where the box was to fix it. Overall I would definitely recommend you stay here!
Pretty view..loved the quiet/secluded area..house was comfy and welcoming..only thing that could have made it better was a Christmas tree to look at! Great communication with the host was a plus.
