Beautiful Mountain Getaway

My husband and I stayed with my mother, our 21 year old son, and 2 younger daughters. The house is very spacious and comfortable and the views are amazing!

Perfect house for weekend retreat

We had 3 doctors in our group for a weekend retreat. It was a perfect house for us. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath. We were able to get in 2 rounds of golf, depite mother natures attempt to keep us off! We would definately come back.

Mountain Majesty

Thank you for such a wonderful stay in your cottage! Everything was just as it was listed on VRBO. The view from the back deck is so wonderful and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. They beds were comfy, the kitchen had great gadgets, bowls and dishes, and the whole house was spotless. Robert, the local guest contact, helped us with any questions and was incredibly quick to respond. Would definitely book it again!

We really enjoyed our stay. This place is beautiful and the views are amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. Joanne was so easy to work with and answered my questions quickly. The one site contact, Richard, answered the phone over the weekend and was super helpful. Do not forget about the indoor pool and the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. This trip was such a wonderful break from the hustle of daily life and stress and was the perfect sisters getaway. Thank you! We will be back!!!

Perfect place for a family getaway!

This the an ideal place if you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet respite from daily life. The entire Old Beau resort has a nice feel of seclusion, and we enjoyed the tennis courts and pools. The resort restaurant is not very reliable, look in Sparta for more options (though most restaurants are closed on Mondays- even holiday Mondays). It’s also an easy drive to Stone Mountain State Park. It’s one of our favorite NC state parks and we enjoyed hiking every day. The view on the back deck is just beautiful and we loved sitting on the deck. The kitchen is well supplied and they were kind to have dish soap and dishwasher tabs there for us to use. Overall, this is on our list of places we’d like to stay again.

Serenity at its best

We stayed 3 weeks at this lovely home. The views were exceptional. We could see the rain in the distant mountains, the deer in the brush below the deck and the butterflies were everywhere. Our host made certain we were comfortable and well taken care of. The home had everything one could imagine - so many little things that one may not remember. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans etc. There were staple items present - seasonings, oil, rice, ketchup, etc. The home was clean - three bedrooms - each with its own bath- 2 on main floor, one upstairs. Beds were comfortable. There were smart TVs in the living room and all three bedrooms. We do not subscribe to streaming but there was plenty of options for us to watch anything we wanted. It was quiet and relaxing. Dinner at the Old Beau clubhouse restaurant was excellent. We do not golf but appreciated the grounds. There are several trails right on the complex to explore. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool available for our use. The best thing is our host was very approachable and quickly responds to any concerns or questions in a very timely manner. It's one of our favorite spots, especially if you want peace and quiet and want to just relax, which was our goal for this trip.

Perfect getaway home

We visited Olde Beau over a long weekend. The house itself was beautiful with lots of extras. The view was remarkable as noted by the 10 year old with us. The golfers were impressed by the golf course and the rest of the group enjoyed pickleball and fishing. Side trips to wineries were fun for all.Owner is involved and emails details and reminders.

Friends get away

Three ladies who’ve been friends for 30 years took a weekend away at your beautiful home. It was such a blessing to us. We loved the beautiful view from the balcony. The fully stocked kitchen was a great aid in our plan to cook our meals in so we could stay in and visit with one another. Your home was very welcoming. The neighborhood was safe.
