Cabin was great! Clean and comfortable. Hot tub was excellent after visiting a Christmas Tree Farm nearby. It was cold during our visit, but the cabin was warm and the fire pit was good to have near the charcoal grill as we cooked some steaks and baked potatoes. We will be back!
The location of this cabin was perfect for exploring Stone Mountain! It was so close, and the view was fantastic! It could have been little cleaner, but wasn’t bad.
We had the best time! The cabin is amazing and so are the views. Everything was very clean. This is our favorite cabin to date, we’ll definitely be back!
This cabin and all that comes with it is absolutely awesome. The views were great, hiking access right around corner, hot tub was awesome, fire pit and charcoal grill were great. Would totally stay here again. Plenty of space for a group also!
We had a lovely weekend at this Stone mountain adjacent property. The cabin is lovely and easy to find and the views from the porch are amazing. It was so nice to have options to sit on the porch or hammock as well as a fire pit and hot tub. I definitely recommend this place and hope to come back in the future.
This cabin truly has the most beautiful views! The sunrises are spectacular. It is located in a very quiet area and so peaceful to sit out on the spacious porch. The cabin was new, beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed. Wonderful location if you want to spend time hiking and fishing at Stone Mountain.
This cabin was very clean and nice. Perfect little getaway for us. The views are beautiful and the porch setup and seating is accommodating to catch all views. The stink bugs were wanting to stay as well (which isn’t the owners fault at all)
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this quaint cottage. My favorite was catching the sunrise over Pilot Mountain while sipping my coffee. The hot tub was relaxing after a great day of hiking in Stone Mountain. We were also able to enjoy some of the local Vineyards (Roaring River and McRitchie) and dinners in Elkin (Ugly Troll Brewing and Southern on Main).
The cabin was beautiful.. the "view" from the front porch was the best thing ! The "check in" time was 4pm..for the price $ the "check out" time should also be 4pm (not 11am) "...giving the customer a full 24 hour stay.
My wife and I have been doing a weekend getaway for anniversary for 10 years now, mostly at various cabins. This is certainly one of the nicest. It has a top tier view, is close to some prime hiking, and i very clean with lots of amenities. The Jenkins family was very responsive and communicative leading up to and during the trip when we needed to touch base about something quickly. I can't recommend this cabin enough.
We had a wedding at a nearby venue and didn’t realize when we had rented these 3 cabins, to mainly just use for sleeping, that we had picked such gems. All 3 cabins were perfect inside and outside all 3 is a truly spectacular view. Got a lot of pictures including beautiful sunrises over the mountains. If it weren’t for the wedding we easily could have just spent each hour of each day just relaxing in paradise. Owners are very nice, communication was excellent. Highly recommend!
So glad we found this cabin that’s not so far away. Makes a great getaway because you’re not spending your whole weekend driving. The cabin is so nice with its great layout and wraparound porch. Plenty of outdoor seating with expansive views. Everything is pretty much new so it’s comfortable, cozy, and still has room to spread out. The hot tub was definitely enjoyable especially with those views. Stone Mountain is right up the road and there’s a country store right around the corner as well. Chez Josephine at Roaring River Vineyards is a great restaurant that’s just a few minutes away. So plenty of options around. Definitely worth a stay!
This is a fantastic place. Rustic cabin feel with an amazing view that you can enjoy from rocking chairs, the cozy porch swing, the hot tub or the fire pit. Fully stocked kitchen made meals easy and the three bedrooms were laid out well enough that it felt like plenty of space for a few days even for our family of five. Most amazing was definitely the proximity to Stone Mountain park - you could essentially walk there if you really wanted to. If you’re familiar with the area, this cabin is actually closer to the park than the country store is! The only point of awareness I’d note is that the A/C isn’t central. It’s a wall mounted unit - very nice and cools quickly, but in the summer it does leave the bedroom upstairs a little toasty overnight - particularly if you need to keep the door closed.
Overall and easy 5 stars though and we will definitely be coming back here for our Stone Mountain trips!
This property is perfect, especially if your plan is to visit Stone mountain. Even just the road to the cabin was a gorgeous drive. Fall color abound, and it didn't stop there. The park trails were amazing and so very close! I would stay in this property again, for sure. I say comfortably sleeps 5. If kids, then 6. Plenty of space. Kitchen even had a crockpot! :) Bring food for meals, nothing super close as far as I could figure. The bugs were annoying around the house, but not too many got inside. Ed was very clear this could be issue due to time of year, so I was prepared. Thank you for a lovely weekend getaway, it was exactly what I needed...a park near by with a comfortable place to sleep.
