Condo has unparalleled white-water coastline and sunset views from living room, master bedroom and balcony. 15 foot high ceilings! Perfect accommodations for 6 guests in our 1,650 sf 3 bed/ 2 bath beach condo. The sound of waves hitting the rocks just below this vacation home is hypnotic.

Beautiful unimpeded and expansive view down the coastline and across the ocean for whale, dolphin and seal watching. 2 minute drive/ 15 minute walk to fabulous restaurants, local craft breweries, antique stores, massage therapy, quaint shopping in Ocean Beach. Centrally located- Just 15 minutes to Downtown, Zoo, Seaworld, Seaport Village, La Jolla, Petco Park and the Point Loma Tidepools and Lighthouse.

Two secure underground parking spaces included, plus plenty of readily available parking on the street!

I absolutely challenge you to find a comprable condo with this proximity to the beach, within 15 minutes of the airport and so central to all of San Diego's attractions. There are NO vacation rentals like this in La Jolla. You'd be facing 1 hour wait times trying to drive to a vacation rental in Pacific Beach of Mission Beach. I've lived in San Diego for over 30 years and bought this condo knowing it would be the very best value of any condo by the beach.

This condo of ours is Unit 3.Local Attractions of Note: Cabrillo Point National Monument- 360 degree views of thesurrounding area, including San Diego and Tijuana fom heights of Cabrillo Point. Tiday pools nearby.
Also, you must go to the Wild Animal Park, Zoo, Sea World, Little Italy and the Gaslamp area if you haven't been. Fabulous!

The view in the early morning was excellent before a total of 70 plus people were on the two small beaches/rocks below. It was great to hear the waves but you can also hear the planes. Other Concerns: 2 lightbulbs out, 1 lamp doesn’t work, white towels have yellow and red stains, beach towels falling apart, master bath shower doesn’t close, shower door handle fell off, lights have many dead bugs, thermostat constantly resets to 76 degrees.

Condo is in a great location, convenient to everything and plenty of space. The views are unmatched. It's so peaceful to watch the waves on the cove. The condo has some wear and tear but nothing that is going to ruin your stay. Water pressure and temperature in the condo are amazing to wash the sand off. Plenty of restaurants to walk to. Ocean Beach feels like an authentic, old school beach town, free from overt commercialization. We would stay again!

This spot was perfect for our family's short stay in San Diego. Our kids were thrilled by the easy access to the beach in the backyard, and we loved watching the sunsets over the ocean right from the window. There was plenty of space for our group, and it was very handy to have laundry available. The carpets were in need of a deep clean, and a few things were in a state of mild disrepair (broken/missing light fixtures, loose floor trim segments, tear in the armchair, etc), but overall I don't think you'll find a better property for the price point. Robert was an accommodating and responsive host. The property is within a short walk to tons of great restaurants - I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore more!

The condo was amazing and a perfect spot for watching the pacific ocean. The accommodations were great for the 4 adults. 3 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with beautiful views from the living/family room.!!! It was quite the find! The host was amazing. Only called when there was an issue (on my side)!!! Sorry Robert!!!I would recommend this stay to anyone. It is on the third floor with stair access so it isn't ADA compliant but it's amazing!!!

It was a great place to stay with an absolute stunning view and easy access to the beach! Very comfortable beds and comfortable feeling staying there. Sea World is right down the street and the Zoo a short drive! I only rated it 4 starts because like other reviews, we noticed some small things that definitely need a little TLC (very minor though).

This place is amazing! The view is stunning, the rooms are clean and well equipped with essentials. We did make use of the kitchen as well as the restaurants that are within walking distance. Being able to walk right down to the beach was a plus. We would absolutely love to return to the same place!

Why they chose this property

I first moved to San Diego from Walnut Creek in Northern California in 1985. Lived in an apartment owned by one of my professors who told me (Oh Brother Where Art Thou) "You 'aint no kind of man unless you own some land." So, decided to invest in the community so-to-speak and sourced this highly singular condo as soon as it was feasible.
And now, we own two of them. And they adjoin! Perfect for very small weddings in the cove and honeymoon suite to boot!

What makes this property unique

The two condos we own are upstairs units with the best white water views I've seen this close to downtown.
If La Jolla offered this kind of view for VRBO (they really don't), then you'd expect to pay 3X's the price. If you're thinking along the lines of Mission Beach, then think again, the traffic will hinder all your summer plans (same thing with La Jolla traffic!).
Ocean Beach is a gentrified hippie community and check's all the boxes for proximity to the Zoo, Seaworld, Downtown, the Airport, etc, as well as providing this incredible proximity to the water and semi-private ocean cove.
