Enjoyed my stay. Nice and quiet pleasant location for yoga and meditation. Waa going to refill the water bottles but pipes were frozen. May be back in the spring!
Amazing little spot, if you’re looking for a cozy getaway while roughing it just a bit, don’t hesitate on this one. Everything was perfect. Would love to stay again.
We had a fabulous stay at this rustic spot. If you have a big motorcycle it may be difficult to turn once to the yurt. Maybe have firewood available to purchase. We had fun playing cornhole inside and then star and moon gazing. Porta potty was very clean, perhaps add a solar light inside it. Would definitely come back.
Overall, it was good for what we needed and for what it is. It was our first time staying in a yurt, which was basically a studio apartment. Small kitchenette and fridge/freezer but adequate for a couple days and a couple people. We didn’t use the fire pit, but seemed a good size and had some chairs also. Outdoor shower was nice. Good directions were given on using it. Porta potty was clean. We missed out on the goats but we used a couple of the trails and those were nice. Swimming hole down the road was nice. Kayaks and paddleboards would be great on the pond. Overall, good for us for a few days. If you are a but more rustic/outdoorsy than us, you would definitely enjoy it.
We had the loveliest stay. The amenities were wonderful as was the property itself. Appreciated the option for AC and there was even coffee available for our morning walking to the bog! Would absolutely recommend and stay again.
We were very pleased with the yurt. It was exactly like the pictures and description. We will be traveling to Maine again and we would stay here again.
What a fun stay - super clean Yurt and great communication. Family of four including two teenagers had a blast during short stay. Stove was ready for us to get a fire started to keep us warm. Yurt had everything we needed for an overnight along the way to Acadia.
We loved spending the weekend in the yurt during our trip to Maine! Beautiful interior framing and carpentry... so many thoughtful details. And the outdoor shower was a treat. Hope to be back soon.
My wife, pup, and I loved staying in James's yurt. It was well-equipped and near a lovely reservoir with great hiking and paddling. The yurt itself was a bit closer to the road than I expected, which made it feel a bit less private and increased the noise a bit, but overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we will gladly return if we are in the area again.
This was just what we needed. Well stocked kitchenette and bedding. Very pretty inside! We stayed one night and didnt get to walk around much because of the rain.
The yurt was well equipped and clean, the outdoor shower
was excellent. Nice quiet neighborhood. The "porta potty"
Could have been cleaner and better maintained.
Nice trails on the property.
