The stay was great.In the end, the owner asked to clean the kitchen and remove the bed sheets, even though we paid 140 cleaning fees.We agreed as a kind gesture
Perfect apartment, great location for slopes & centre. Only downside was backing onto back door of nightclub which made for a very noisy Tue night with the seasonnaires partying the night before their day off!We had loads of snow & Val Thorens is great for getting around the 3 Valleys.Recommend.
Nightmare arrival when you are said that no apartment available
At 6 pm, after 13 hs driving we got a phone call that our apartment is not available. We got substitute offer much smaller, either on 1400m or 1800m, replacing the apartment on 2300m Valthorens, which was on the skislope. Because it was very warm weather and the substitute apartment was not at the ski slope, much much worse quality we did not accept it. The owner sent back the money, and with this she wanted to finish the deal. We called VRBO, where we got some help, but the guy offered another possibility in Lyon. From US it might have been seen as the region, but it should be at least 3 hs driving Val thorens and another 3 hs back every day. so we could not accept these either. Finally we slept in 2 very small room one night in a youth hostel on the cost of the original apartment owner and one day later got 2 very small (28qm) apartment in ValThorens, but both were very poor quality. We suppose double reservation happened, but I do not wish that nervousness after 15 hs driving with eight guests behind you, what we had the first evening. We did reservation in 2023 October and paid the rest on 4th January, one month in advance. These accomodation owners should be fined seriously through the accomodation organizer company.
Lors de notre installation, nous avons constaté que l'appartement n'était pas très propre (cheveux dans le lit, dans les armoires, miettes sur le sol, traces de nourriture collée sur la machine nespresso). On a averti le propriétaire qui a proposé un (re)nettoyage mais vu qu'on avait nous-même nettoyé l'appartement et qu'on était installé on a décliné son offre (mais on aurait apprécié un geste commercial de la part du propriétaire). Terrasse donne sur un bâtiment pas une très belle vue /les assises des fauteuils et chaises sont inconfortables il est temps de les renouveler/ la taque de cuisson pas top / la hotte était déboîtée/l'évier de la chambre des parents était bouché / certains draps étaient fort chiffonnés non repassés et donnent un aspect de négligence/ le sèche linge ne fonctionne pas très bien/ manger à table à 8 personnes semble exagéré on était 6 et on était déjà bien serrés... vu le prix de la semaine, on pensait que ce serait un logement un peu plus au top donc grande déception pour toute la famille. Points positifs : 4 chambres et 3 salles de bain et le wifi qui fonctionne super bien ! Par contre nous ne réserverons plus cet appartement.
Un superbe appartement pouvant accueillir aisément une famille nombreuse.
L’accueil était super, avec un hôte à l’écoute et disponible.
Je recommande fortement grâce également a son emplacement adéquat pour profiter de la station. Nous reviendrons sans soucis.
L'appartement est vraiment très agréable. Il est grand avec tout le confort. Il est parfait pour 8 personnes avec ses 4 chambres et 3 salles de bain. Nous avons juste eu une déconvenue concernant l'ascenseur qui a été en panne à plusieurs reprises et que l'appartement est au 7e étage.
En tout cas, nous recommandons ce logement.

Logement spacieux et très agréable
Logement très agréable, spacieux, bien agencé. L’ameublement est de qualité et il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour que le séjour soit confortable. Accueil chaleureux et efficace par le propriétaire
