About this property
Emerald Forest Treehouse - From Treehouse Masters
Featured on Treehouse Masters, this magical retreat was built by Pete Nelson in 2017.
The glowing wood interior and windows extend from floor to soaring ceiling inside this cozy yet luxurious treehouse. Tucked away on thirty forested acres, the airy interior is comfortably furnished and bursting with natural light.
Equipped with an outdoor hot shower, Wi-Fi, a 100 inch screen/projector, and hot tub, you can truly get away from it all among lush evergreens just 10 minutes from Redmond.
Access to the treehouse is off the deck 150' behind our home, with a very easy 55 foot suspended walkway/bridge among the trees.
The treehouse is an open-space room surrounded by expansive windows with views of the forest and a private pond. It provides a comfortable queen bed with high-end linens, a reclining couch, and a twin bunk bed in the loft, accessible by ladder.
There is a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig in the kitchenette area, and a cafe dining table that seats three. Your complimentary continental breakfast is served via a 150' zipline from the main house.
We have full cable TV, Netflix, Amazon and Hulu available. Watch your favorite movie, or Treehouse Masters episode, on the 100" drop down screen and HD projector.
The treehouse is surrounded by an expansive deck and crow's nest (40 feet high). Each overlook the private nature preserve pond that is home to blue heron, frogs, and especially beavers with the main beaver hut visible from the deck!
There is a private outdoor shower accessible off the deck, as well as a half bath (toilet and sink) attached to the other side of the treehouse.
Across the pond is the Emerald Forest and Theater featured on another episode of Treehouse Masters in 2018 ('Climb-in, Drive-In Theater'). Based on availability, you may explore this beautiful forest and theater as well. It is an easy 1/2 mile walk on a flat trail! Your treehouse stay does not include the use of the ziplines to the Emerald Forest or the use of the theater/projector in the forest.
The base price assumes one or two guests. There is an additional charge of $35/each per night for guests #3 and #4.

This was a lifetime experience. Total core memory. 32nd anniversary was the BEST! I thought it was fun to stay in a treehouse. This is so much more than a treehouse. The owner brings the magic! My husband and I will definitely be back. We ran all over seeing the sights but the real magic is at the Emerald Forest. I can't wait to put our memories to canvas prints for our wall. I was skeptical the outdoor shower would keep me warm but it did with the heater! Showering with the birds is not to be missed. Everything was exceptionally clean. The owner was friendly and communicated well. I found this place on Amazon Primes Little VRBO. The show doesn't cover the "surprise" the owner has for everyone who stays. All the feels folks.
Our stay at the Emerald Forest was so much more than just spending a night in a tree house. Our host Scott made our stay a whole experience! I would highly recommend for anyone looking a something unique and unforgettable!
The experience of staying at the Emerald Forest Treehouse far exceeded my expectations in every way. Scott was an incredible host, the treehouse and grounds were amazing, the thoughtful details made us feel welcomed and pampered, and the surprises were magical. I highly recommend this unique experience to anyone able to stay!

Thank you so much for staying with us. We loved hosting you. We hope to welcome you and your family back any time!
The pictures and reviews do not do this properly justice. It’s understandable though as others don’t want to ruin the fun for the next visitors. There is so much thought and care put into this beautiful place that it just blows your mind.

Our stay at the Emerald Forrest Treehouse was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the hosts’ hospitality set the tone—they’ve clearly put so much thought into creating a truly magical experience. The treehouse itself is incredibly comfortable and cozy, with a bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. One of the highlights was the projector and big screen, which made it feel like we had our own private movie theater tucked away in the trees. The hot tub was amazing, the smart home lighting added to the ambiance, and the snacks provided were such a fun and thoughtful touch. We also loved that you can even Grubhub directly to the treehouse, so there’s no need to leave once you’re settled in. Every detail was intentional and elevated the experience. This was easily one of the most unique and memorable stays we’ve had—we can’t wait to come back

Charming and high tech treehouse. The host has clearly put his heart and soul into making a special experience for each one of his guests. The stay will exceed your expectations.
I have never been so excited to write a review. This place is perfect and magical, without exception. I won't spoil the surprises but DO THEM! They are amazing. This could go on; for every weather-created glitch, (it was very cold and rainy right before,) there was an immediate response and more than expected. The location was great - enough to feel isolated, but close enough for conveniences. Rooms were immaculate, the host and property manager were wonderful and communicative, everything was reasonable, easy and great. I can't say enough positive things about this, except to say, if you have the chance you must stay here. You will have not regrets.

The Emerald Forest Treehouse was a truly amazing experience even on a rainy day! The owners of the property have thought of everything and provided so much added value to the experience down to really soft robes and the quality of the furnishings. We went from stressed daily life to fully relaxed almost instantly. We look forward to returning one day when it is better weather to take advantage of hiking around the property as well.

Our stay in the Treehouse exceeded all of my expectations. The owners truly go above and beyond. Our family went as a birthday surprise for my husband. He loved it! And our 8 and 7 yr old loved it as well, I think they are all brainstorming how to build our own ;)
It’s fun for the whole family!

This place is beautiful beyond words. The carpet of bright green moss throughout the emerald Forest is breathtaking. The surprises take your breath away and the host has thought of EVERYTHING imaginable to create a perfect get-a-way. This was the best anniversary we have ever shared and a perfect choice for our belated honeymoon. We stayed 3 nights and it was so hard to leave. Their doggy's are also the sweetest most well behaved boys. It was perfect in every way.
