Property is approximately 30 mins from grocery stores and cities. Deep in the woods, off the beaten path. Quiet setting, dated house inside and out. Water smells a little, floors creak. We did not use the lake or trail. Satisfied with the value we got for the stay. Served our purpose. Host was very nice and provided lots of information about the rental.

Thank you for taking the time to do a review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. There is a dollar general about 10 minutes from the home. The closest grocery store is in Lincolnton about 15 minutes away. The closest larger town is Thompson & it is about 30 minutes away. & Evans is in other direction & is about 35 minutes away. There are multiple grocery stores & restaurants there. There is a well that provides water so sometimes there is a bit of a sulfa smell when you first start running the water. Usually you can run the shower for several minutes & this flushes out the smell. Thanks again & you’re welcome back anytime.
