Coastal Soul Cottage, let your soul guide you to the coast! Stay in the heart of beautiful Tybee Island at this cute cottage with bright, bold colors - just waiting to welcome you home. This cottage, originally built in 1870, has been updated and furnished for comfort. The home consists of two bedrooms and one full bathroom and has two great screened porches from which you will enjoy the Tybee breezes. Enjoy a short, 2.5 blocks stroll to the beach.

Enter the home through the front screened porch into the living area that welcomes you with tall ceilings, a comfy sleeper sofa, and a large flat-screen TV with surround sound. The living area opens to a fully equipped kitchen and a breakfast bar with seating for 2. The kitchen has all you need to take on your favorite meals, and you can chill your favorite wine in the built-in wine fridge. Just off the living room, step up to the dining room, there is a large dining table which seats up to 8 - perfect for family gatherings or fun game nights. Just off the kitchen is an additional screened porch area - for evenings on the porch.

The first bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and a large flat-screen TV, the second is furnished with a Queen size bed. (New Photos will be added soon!) The bedrooms share a bathroom that includes a tub and shower combination. This cottage is comfy and cozy and ready for guests inside, and out. The backyard is fully fenced in, so your traveling companion will have a safe place to run and play, and there is also a table seating four and a gas grill for cookouts! Also, there is an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

There is a washer and dryer in the home for guests' use. There is parking for up to 3 cars. Wifi is available. Coastal Soul Cottage is located on 2nd Avenue, which is Tybee Island's designated bike path. Bring your bikes, or rent them while you are here - as this is the best mode of transportation around the island and a great way to experience life like a local while on Tybee Island.

We really love this property except the flooring around the toilet is very soft and appears to be rotting, possibly from a leaking wax ring. Also a couple of the ceiling fans were a little scary. We really want to stay at this property again next year if the floor is repaired! It is very charming, has all the amenities we need, we loved having a front and back screened porch,and the location for us, is perfect!PS-please add a new grill brush. :)

Winter get away vacation.

Great place to vacation. Everything in walking distance. Fenced yard for our dog was perfect. We visited in mid-February, so it was a little too cold for the beach (50 - 60 degrees average). But it was near 0 degrees back home, so.....:)

Perfect beach cottage

This property is perfect for a getaway! Super close to beach access and restaurants either within walking or driving distance. House is cute, private, and in a quiet neighborhood which is perfect!! Living spaces are nice, but the bedrooms are a bit snug, so maybe not the choice for more than 4 people, but for the 2 of us and our dog, it was perfect!!!

My wife and I (and dogs) fled from hurricane ravaged Western North Carolina to this terrific home at the beach to wait for ur power to be restored. We extended our stay 5 extra nights on top of the original 4 and we cant say enough good things about the property and tram at TVR.property

A great stay!

My daughter and I came for a short vacation, traveling all the way from NJ. We loved the cottage, and overall enjoyed our stay at Tybee Island. The cottage was immaculate, and the rental company left use a nice welcome bag, along with enough extra sheets and towels. Beaches were close by, as well as a small grocery store, which was convenient. We also rented bikes right down the street, which we walked to. Overall, our stay was a good time !

Too cute for words!

While not on the beach, it was close enough to walk to! Estimated 6 blocks. Cute, clean, and cozy! Beds were comfortable as were all the furniture. My cousin brought her pups and they LOVED the place. I would come back to stay in a heartbeat and may just do that!! Nice that there were some good restaurants nearby and they didn't break the bank either!

Great location

The property itself is a great location. Central to everything. And for our fur babies the fenced in front and back yard was wonderful. House equipped with everything you need. Perfect for couple with pets. My main issue was overall cleanliness of the property. Everything needed some extra TLC! Floors were sticky. The kitchen table had wadded up napkins under the leg to stable it. The rugs under guest bed was stained all around it. Bathroom floors were full of hair in the corners. And shower curtain had water stains all over it so less than appealing. Would recommend a good overhaul on cleaning. But overall we enjoyed our stay and. Location was amazing

Great visit in October

We loved the location of this house. When we booked we didn’t realize how ideal mid island would be. We recommend walking as much as possible to north, south and river side destinations. Totally enjoyed the island and the house. The porches are so nice. Kitchen has great cookware and lots of dishes. Also plenty of linens. Our only wish was for a cooler and beach chairs. Be sure to go to AJ’s, Crabshack and Stingray’s for dinner. The grocery store is super close for odds and ends.

Great spot!!

This was our first visit to Tybee Island. We enjoyed the house very much. Good location, cute house, nice neighborhood. Though we knew it to be the "shoulder" season on Tybee, we were very surprised by how quiet the island was - which we loved. I think that it would have been a good idea to let us know what the recycle policy is for your guests. We didn't notice until our last day that there is a place to bring recyclables, by then it had all gone into the trash. Although we did see a number of ants in the house they weren't that numerous and we took care to not leave any food out. We really appreciated how clean the house was and tried to leave it that way.

Close to beach, comfy & clean

Great stay. I didn't bring any pets but for comparison, other pet friendly properties I've booked in the past have tended to be pretty run down. Not so with this property. This was very clean and well maintained. Beds were super comfortable. I haven't slept so well in a while. The jasmine outside smells amazing. Just a heads up that no basic foodstuffs are provided beyond salt & pepper. No beach towels or chairs either, which is a bit annoying for someone like me that traveled by plane. Beach towels take up a lot of limited luggage space. Beach chairs are available to rent nearby. These aren't deal breaker issues for me but they are items that I think other travelers should know.

Colorful Disappointment

The pictures of this property are not representative of what we experienced. The yard has not been maintained and has no grass, only dirt and weeds. Inside it smells very musty. The living room rug was extremely dirty with large dark stains all over it. The couch was also stained. There is not adequate clothing storage or luggage racks. There is an ironing board but no iron. In the bathroom, the shelves and wall cabinet are broken. On the back screened in porch, the rug is also extremely dirty with debris all over it and the table and chairs on the back and front porch had not been cleaned. Overall we were extremely disappointed with this house and there were only 3 of us. I can not imagine cramming 6 people in there. There would be nowhere to put anything. If you're looking for a fenced in yard for your dog, the back yard is just dirt and weeds. We couldn't even let our dog out because he would get so dirty and just track it in the house. We also reached out to the property managers about the lack of cleanliness. They assured us they would send out housekeeping to "assess" the situation. We never heard from them again until after we checked out. We had to put a sheet over the couch to feel comfortable sitting on it. This house needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning before anyone stays in it again.

Tybee Island Vaca

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Tybee Island. Easy drive into Savannah. Lots to see & do in both places. We walked to dinner and the beach easily and the neighborhood was exceptionally quiet. Our 2 furbabies enjoyed the backyard and screened in porches. The pair of Osprey nesting in the tall pine tree next door was a bonus. Will definitely being coming back to visit.

Cottage vacation

Clean, convenient location, love Tybee! We visited in an unusually cool January, and the single pane windows made this older cottage a drafty place to stay.
