Peaceful wooded retreat north of Athens

The Cottage at Pond Creek is an 1000 square foot cottage connected to the main house at Pond Creek with complete privacy. There is a full kitchen with a lovely sitting room, 2 bedrooms and a big bathroom. The small bedroom has a day bed and a door going to the carport where you can park your car. The big bedroom has a King Size 4 poster bed, and rocking chair looking out into the woods. There is one big bathroom with double sinks, vanity, and shower. The walk-in closet is off the bedroom where there is a washer and dryer. There are hardwood floors in the kitchen, sitting room, and small bedroom.

Peaceful getaway

Loved this cute home only a few miles from Athens. All was clean and comfortable and met our needs for the weekend. Graduation weekend was rushed but hope we will have the chance to come back and stay at this property again.

We had a great experience. The place was clean and very cozy (felt like home). The property was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. There were lots of board games and puzzles which kept us entertained. The kitchen had all the necessities. Check-in and out were very easy. Communications with the owner were very professional, prompt, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Great GA weekend!

We stayed here for our annual UGA football game…and what a game it was! This cottage was perfect for the 2 of us…lovely wooded setting. Jeanine and Charles were the perfect hosts. Toilet acted up and probably needs internal parts replaced, but Charles came over immediately to help. Would stay again!!

We were there for our sons 50th birthday. Had a great time in this space. Everything we needed in the kitchen and convenient to stores and restaurants. The owners are great and made it an easy process. We hope to use again.
