Beautiful Cabin in City Limits Close to Downtown Helen! Close-Up Mountain Views!

You’ll love relaxing on one of the two covered porches while listening to the gentle sounds of a small creek that runs behind the cabin. Keep an eye out for wild turkeys strolling through the yard and the occasional deer. The sunroom features large picturesque windows with a beautiful forest view, giving you the feeling of seclusion while still being minutes from everything Helen has to offer.

Location

This family-built cabin sits on 1½ acres within the city limits of Helen, just a couple of blocks from the entrance to Valhalla Golf Resort. The Helen to Hardman Hiking Trail is right around the corner. Downtown Helen and the tubing put-ins are only a 3-minute drive or a pleasant 15–20 minute walk away. Paved road access makes coming and going easy, and an all-day parking lot is available in town if you prefer to drive.

Park under the covered carport right in front of the cabin for convenience. Exterior cameras on the front and side porches facing the driveway provide added security.

We provide maps, a travel guide, local attraction flyers, and restaurant menus. As private owners (not a property management company), we take personal pride in the cabin and are never far away if you need anything.

A signed Rental Agreement must be received within 24 hours of booking or access will not be granted.
Maximum stay: 14 nights.
Door access code will be texted or emailed on the day of arrival.

Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place the used towels in the blue container located in the laundry room. Leave bed linens on the beds.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
A signed rental agreement must be submitted to owner within 24 hours to complete reservation. We have a maximum stay limit of 14 nights.
We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 yrs of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
Pets of any description are not allowed due to a family member's severe allergies to pet dander. This rule includes ESA's.

This was our second year staying here. It is a beautiful home. The house is far enough from Helen to enjoy a quiet stay, but close enough to walk to all the restaurants. We were even lucky enough to see a momma bear and her 3 cubs from the back porch. We will definitely stay again!

Cabin was very comfortable. My host was wonderful. Location was ok, hills were a little scary. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and another full bath on first floor. Cabin was very spacoius. Kitchen was well stocked.

My husband and I both grew up in Georgia. For many years, we visited Helen for relaxation and fun. In 2004, we decided to purchase property within the city limits to build our vacation home. In 2006 we, along with family members, built the Alemaigne Haus Cabin and later decided to share our home with others to enjoy as well. Fourteen years ago, we decided to move to the area so that we could be near our rentals and assist our guests as needed.

Why they chose this property

We have always loved the city of Helen because we really like the touch of Bavaria in this re-created alpine village with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers which is full of activities throughout the year. Our cabin is less than a mile to downtown Helen which makes for easy access for our guests.

What makes this property unique

We love sitting on the deck as we listen to the sounds of the creek in the back yard. And, the view from the Sunroom is absolutely beautiful! The cabin is located in the city limits and is within walking distance to town, yet you have the feeling of total seclusion. For those who enjoy the water park, our cabin is only a couple of blocks away.
