West Kill is a beautiful, magical, rural area just 15 minutes from Phoenicia and Hunter, 30 minutes from Woodstock, 2.5 hours from NYC.
The home is fully furnished, with many artistic and unique details. There is a master bedroom and second bedroom upstairs. Full bathroom with tub and shower upstairs and a half bathroom downstairs. The house is gorgeous and was originally built in 1850. Everything has been renovated through the years and the kitchen is a chef's dream (it was remodeled by Devin Mills, executive chef from Peekamoose restaurant, which is highly recommended and less than 10 min down the road!)
Additionally, there is a family room with pellet wood stove, tv and dvd player, and a dining room ready to host 8. The entry room has been used as a music room and is heated with a powerful propane heater if you choose to use it in the winter months. The house features a charming wrap around porch, an epic staircase in front and an acre of woodland with a gentle river as property border.
This home is the perfect balance between privacy in nature and easy access to town and 4 ski mountains --Bellayre, Hunter, Plattekill and Wyndham! :)
