We have had a very nice stay. The view is magnificent, you can even see the sea. The owners are very welcoming and providing tips for day trips and restaurants. The property is in a very remote area and if you love some peace ans quietness on your holiday, this is the perfect place.
The house is very unique, everything is made of stone and wood which creates a special atmosphere. The view is gorgeous, you can sit in the infinity pool and look over the beautiful valley up to the Adriatic sea which is a 50 min drive away. The garden is very big and you can spot animals like deer, boar and hedgehogs.
Claudia was very friendly and welcoming and you can always reach her when you need anything.
Perfect place for a quiet holiday in beautiful nature.

Beautifully developed property.
I'm in two minds about writing a good review as it means others will find this property or the prices may go up.
The communication with the owners was fantastic. Even with conversing in a different language it was speedy. I had some initial concerns based on a previous review. Having spoken to the owners it was obvious that the property wasn't quite refurbished two years ago, but is now.
I'll start with some of the not so positive points (and it is not really the property at fault).
The road to the property can be a challenge. On our first day the family had to get out of the car and walk the last bit to lighten the load. The car was a decent estate so wouldn't normally have struggled. Imagine a rally stage with loose gravel, uphill with ruts!
The other thing to take note of is the wildlife. You are in an agricultural area and that brings wildlife. There are quite a lot of flies, wasps, hornets and other general things that like to sting and bite. We even had a scorpion in the house which had to be caught and tossed into a field.
The owners have some fly traps around the garden and they do a certain amount to catch some of the insects.
A possibility of a couple of fans in the house might help on a night time.
The house itself is beautiful. You can really see the craftsmanship, love and attention that has gone into producing a bespoke finish in the kitchen and bathrooms. It was spotless clean when we arrived. There is a lot of glass to clean.
Some other nice touches are a smart tv, reasonable internet in parts of the house, a music system wired into the house with Blue tooth and a pool cleaning robot.
The dining/sitting room downstairs is nice and cool due to the stone floors and the double opening glide door systems.
The main focus of the property is the pool. An infinity pool looking down the valley and into the sea in the distance.
Ideal property for kids. Lots of land for them to play around in.
Enough shops locally (about 8km) to last a few weeks easily without needing bigger stores.
You will definitely need a car for this property and it would be difficult to access if you had some mobility difficulties.
We never go back to the same place twice as the world is a big place to explore.
We would however consider going back to this place. we were sad to leave

Beautiful villa, fantastic landscape
A note to the first ranking below:
It is correct that the pictures on the advertisement do not show the same property. The house and the pool are not in the same area. For that I need to deduct one star. We discussed that before we signed the contract and we agreed with the lessor if the pool in front of the modern house will not be completed a few weeks before our holidays start we can cancel the contract without any fees. Claudia contacted us in June, informed us that the construction work has not been done on time and offered us the other house to the same conditions. After checking the pictures she sent we agreed to change the house.
Now a review about the house we rented:
The way to the house is a bit adventurous (as usual in Italy). It is natural road with ground waves and potholes but good to drive for normal cars. We were warmly welcomed by the owners Claudia and Claudio and they showed and explained us all important things. Inside the house is not as modern as the one of the pictures but nevertheless very nice. The ground floor is furnished with country-specific furniture and a kitchen equipped with all you need. There is a room with washing machine and tumbler which the guest can use.
Our favorite place was the beautiful conservatory with very comfortable quality wood furnishings, a pizza oven and a barbecue we often use. All windows can be opened and you can enjoy the fantastic view to the pool and the landscape.
On the first floor there are two modern bathrooms and three bedrooms with a plenty of storage space. The wooden floor and the partially nature-stone-walls look wonderful and the house are a good mix of traditional and modern. Everything was very cleaned up, nice decorated and in good conditions.
The outdoor are is equipped with quality-wood deckchairs (with clean chair pads which we seldom have) and the whole garden is well maintained. The pool is absolutely amazing. We loved to be in there.
Because of the thick walls the WIFI is only working outdoor and in the conservatory. Mobile phone network is quite difficult – only a few good places The TV was working well but as usual with satellite broadcast rain and wind can cause that the channels break off.
Claudia and Claudia are very charming helpful hosts and we really felt welcome and enjoyed the two weeks there.

PICTURES DIFFERED STRONGLY FROM REALITY
PICTURES OF ADVERTISEMENT DIFFERED STRONGLY FROM REALITY
What happened in detail:
- Pictures of the advertisement show a generous property including a newly renovated house in a country style and a pool and directly in front of this building
- Reality: after our arrival, we recognized, that the house and the outside area (garden and pool) were not in the same area! After some discussions we could choose between
o 1) the new house WITHOUT A POOL nearby (w/o any refund)
o 2) A SHABBY OLD HOUSE with the pool shown on the pictures (w/o any refund)
o 3) immediately leave and get a refund -> as we arrived during summer holidays after two days in the car without getting any WLAN, unfortunately, this wasn’t a realistic option
Moreover, the first option was offered a few days after our arrival, as the house “was not ready” when we arrived which means: sanitary facilities did not work and the road was not accessible due to the rain
- We chose the old house with pool which means the following (we have submitted pictures to FeWo)
o Continuous visits of craftsmen as SANITARY FACILITIES DIDN’T WORK, the TV CRASHED multiple times, the WLAN ALMOST NEVER RUN and didn’t even exist at our arrival (and very weak in case it did run…)
o SHABBY, OLD, PARTLY DESTROYED FURNITURE and decorations
o SOME UNINHABITABLE, MESSY ROOMS full with furniture and clothing garbage
- Lessor Claudia is still convinced, that her advertisement and mixing pictures of two accommodations is ok, as both accommodations are in the same village (although even separated by a fence!)
