The home was spacious and comfortably accommodated our large family, which was a definite plus. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the property would benefit from a little updating.

We really enjoyed our week stay. We were a bit surprised with the kitchen and main gathering areas on the 3rd floor but after being on the island, better understand the reasoning! Kitchen was pretty well equipped. Bedrooms with restrooms were really nice so each couple or single had their own bathroom. Thank you!! Shallys was very responsive. The lookout area was great for watching the sunset. Beautiful sunrises on the 3rd floor deck. No concerns!

This property is one of the best places to stay at North Captiva! It had all the accommodations we wanted for our family and more. We enjoyed the pool, games to play at the pool area with outside picnic table and refrigerator for taking a break to eat. We loved the widow’s lookout, and plenty of spacious bedrooms. There was ease of open living space and the kitchen design was easy to work in with lots of countertop space, Having two washers and dryers located in the middle of the home and operating side by side is basically a must when you are staying somewhere with a beach and pool. Our host Lacy had all this ease of living design figured out for this place. The location on the North tip of the island we actually loved because of the feel of more quiet and private for our family. We did go when not all the houses were filled around us though. But that made a wonderful experience at the beaches for open nature beach walks and shell discoveries. I love how this island is family friendly and quiet, low key with friendly people all enjoying the island together. I suggest before you come, look at all the fine print details of rules, accommodations, and what the logistics are to settle a vacation here. We did shally for perishable groceries delivery and packed our own shelf stable items into totes for the boat commute. Be ready for exercise with lots of steps inside this house and come with an openness for adventure and experiences. Go with it! Host Lacy and Shally’s are great!

Family vacation

Great family vacation. The house has everything you need for cooking! Relaxing beaches, great sunrises, and amazing memories. Bring bug spray for evening walks and yard guard ( bug spray) for evening on the lower deck.

We were able to also take the time to replace the game tables, more inside and outside furnishings, and of course brand new golf carts! We booked for a family reunion and had a wonderful time at the island. Perfect weather, beaches, views, nature.We saw eagles, hawks, porpoises, stingray and sharks. Some turtles and of course the manatees. The house exceeded our expectations and had all the comforts that we expected.It also provided amazing views of the water and we were lucky to see a couple of eagles building a nest on a neighbor's house during our stay.Communication with Lacey and Shally's was quick and on point. Golf carts are a must and make a fun trip to the beach or bars. Pool was heated and was a hit with the kids and grandma late in the day.

We loved staying at Sublime! The owners and property managers were fantastic and attentive. Any obstacles were quickly resolved. Communication was great. My whole family (14 of us) had a great time. Core memories created left and right! Highly recommended!

Paradise at North Captiva

The island was everything they said it would be. Beautiful beaches and only golf cart travel made for a very wonderful family get away. The house is everything the pictures show you and was perfect for our group of 16!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home on North Captiva. The island is truly special, and when we return, this will be the first house I check for availability.Our group of 13 made full use of the space — the pool and grill were perfect, and the home was exactly as described. We had a private chef cook dinner each night, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything she needed. The grocery delivery service also worked seamlessly.The property team was attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic experience — I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
