Our host, Rich, was wonderful. He communicated with us and answered all our questions. The kitchen is very well stocked. Being able to walk just a short distance from the back porch to the beach is absolutely wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised to find some beach chairs and umbrellas available to use. Most restaurants and activities are only a short drive from the house.

The house provides a beautiful view of the ocean waves crashing ashore. Plenty of room for large family gatherings and many amenities already provided. Lots of great restaurants within a short drive away. Host communicates very well with his guests. I would definitely book with Rich in the future!

Family Vacation

We do a family vacation every year with our 6 grown children. We rented this property this year and it was absolutely amazing! The property owner was amazing and kept in touch with us on a regular basis to make sure our stay was everything we needed it to be. We will rent this property again.

We just wrapped up an unforgettable stay at this oceanfront beach house in Garden City! The views are nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean directly from the back desk was one of the highlights of our trip. The house itself was incredibly clean, spacious, and perfectly laid out for our family. We absolutely loved the direct access right down to the sand. When we weren't on the beach, it was a quick walk down to the Garden City Pier or in the opposite direction the Surfside Pier to enjoy the local shops, arcade, and restaurants. Having a fully equipped, modern kitchen was a huge plus for family dinners, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable after long days in the sun.The location feels quiet and relaxing, but you are still just a quick drive away from the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk and Myrtle Beach attractions. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stress-free, picturesque coastal getaway. We are already planning our next trip back!

All you need for family beach fun

It is a beautiful oceanfront location, close to great restaurants and state parks. The house is furnished for comfort. The kitchen is well-equipped. The owner gave us lots of information about the house and was very responsive when we had a problem with the dishwasher. I highly recommend this beach house for a group of family or friends who want to share a relaxing beach experience.

Portofino IV 2004 is an excellent place! Right on the ocean, view is great from the master bedroom facing the ocean.Sunrise was perfect to awaken to and the view with all the colors as morning breaks was awesome. There was 11 of us staying there and was plenty of enough room for all. Bed & bath rooms were great, enough privacy for all. Kitchen well stocked and then some, if you can think of it it's there in the kitchen, did not lack for anything. One of the best features I felt was there is enough "little things" to get you started on a great vacation. Like bathroom items, kitchen items, paper towels, coffee etc... Nice way to start a vacation especially if you arrive late at night. Then just make your way to a store in the morning for what else you may need.Awesome Place! Thank you!

This was our first trip to South Carolina and it didnt disappoint! Our family of 11 stayed for a week and we had more than enough room for all of us, including various bedrooms and bathrooms. The dream happened with the walkout to easy beach access and the large deck (half sun, half shade). The location to nearby restaurants and happenings is ideal too, including airport access. To top it all off, there isnt a better VRBO host, than Rich. Don't undersestimate the importance of this. Good communication by the host can make the experience all the better and Rich does it expertly.

Perfect, beautiful, easy!

We had a fantastic trip for Thanksgiving. Of course the house is fantastic and the location is unbeatable... My kids LOVED being able to just walk out onto the beach anytime they wanted. And I loved that they could play right there while I enjoyed time on the deck with the adults! But the BEST PART of all was our host! Rich made sure we had everything we needed before we began our travel, he checked on us while we were there, and he even made sure we knew which days were going to be the best weather-wise to enjoy the beach and any other outdoor activities we had planned. The home is well prepared for large groups and if you ever have questions, Rich is just a text or phone call away to make sure everything is smooth. THANK YOU, RICH!

Everything we needed and more

We absolutely loved our stay here, and the owner Rich is top notch. He's possibly the most kind and responsive owner we've ever dealt with, and if we need a house this size in the future, I wouldn't hesitate a moment to book this one again. I've truly never seen a house stocked with more small appliances and different kinds of utensils, even if the knives could use a little sharpening, as with most rentals where guests may not have always taken the best care. It was easy to prepare meals with a gorgeous view of the beach, and the rooms were all very comfortable. The master suite has a fantastic view, and even a table and 2 chairs where you can relax in private. The deck and huge picnic table were perfect for socially distanced lunches, and there was plenty of beach equipment to take down the brand new walkway to enjoy the sand and sun. I'm so pleased that we chose this house, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

This property is a gem. On the beach with easy beach access. Large rooms with nice, comfortable furnishings. We were a party of eight so the four full bathrooms were a treat. The outdoor deck is spacious with half covered for the non sun lovers! Plenty of parking and centrally located for walking or driving. The views are spectacular. The host is extremely good with communication and very accessible. Rich is very knowledgeable of area and has great recommendations. As you can tell, we had a great time here and highly recommend this property!!

Owners are amazing!

Great communication, great location, a perfect family vacation. The only "issue" was with the cleanliness of the house when we first arrived. It almost seemed like the cleaners forgot to clean: (i.e. we swept up a pile of sand, plasticware etc. in just the kitchen area and food wrappers were found under the beds in 1 room.) Other than that - absolutely wonderful!
