We love staying in this Bayeux cottage. It was an easy walk from the train station. It’s very close to downtown. It was wonderful having a garden. Our host was always in contact with us and answered all questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Gem in Bayeux!

This wonderful home was perfect for our Normandy stay. It is close to city center and made seeing the sites and beaches quite easy from a central location. Private yard, great and communicative owners and a well stocked, beautiful home made for a perfect trip. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again! Perfect for families!

We had an excellent stay - the house was clean, spacious and our host was incredibly communicative. so close to the old town - everything was walking distance. great little shops and cafes, meeting point for dday tours, solid museums. would definitely recommend foe a stay.

The Perfect Home in a Lovely City

We could not have asked for a lovelier home in a more perfect location. We spent four days in Bayeux, visiting its museums and taking a private tour of the Normandy landing beaches and surrounding environs. Carine is the perfect host, and the house a lovely respite!

The house really couldn’t be better! It’s beautifully decorated and clean, has most everything you could need, and is so spacious. The yard and privacy, and easy parking, were such a nice bonus. Absolutely perfect location, so close walking to the busy town center but on a very quiet street. Carine was responsive, had almost no special requirements about checking out, and was right next door if needed. Having a dryer in addition to the washer was also a plus. Can’t imagine a much better place to stay in Bayeux!

Fabulous property!

This house was perfect. Check-in process was seamless. House was exactly as advertised-it was clean, spacious and in an incredible location. Walkable to a grocery store, the historic downtown (Tapestry museum and Cathedral), and lots of shops and restaurants. Host was communcative and helpful. Would definitely book again!

Bayeux Bliss

Beautiful little house close to the center of Bayeux. Very well equipped, a short walk to boulangeries, patisseries, restaurants and groceries. Comfortable beds, nearly instantaneous communications with host Carine, and a nice quiet location. If you are lucky, you may get a visit from the gorgeous Gaspard the cat!

Very nice and cosy house near the center of Bayeux. Can only recommend to stay hear. Brilliant alternative to hotel - especially if you need several rooms. Great communication with the host, who is very kind and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay in this house.

Charming, Quiet, convenient to Bayeux, D-Day Memorials.

The house was absolutely charming, sparkling clean, with attention to every detail a guest could need. Check in and communication was prompt and very easy. Location was very quiet street with lovely gardens to relax in. I didn’t notice laundry being available on listing but there is both a washer and dryer on the property. An easy walking distance to downtown Bayeux for shopping and restaurants. We found this location restful and convenient as we toured Mt St Michel one day and spent another day at the D-Day Memorial area. Highly recommend!

Amazing!

This is a house, all on the ground level, with magnificent space! It is an easy walk to everything in town, and secure, private parking. The home is beautifully decorated. The host lives right next door and is easily reached; communication was excellent. This is by far the most beautiful property I have stayed at in France!

Beautiful house to relax in after sightseeing

Our multiple-generational group of 6 comfortably stayed one week in this house. It was spotless upon arrival. Easy to find and easy to enter, private driveway was an extra perk. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the owner was available for any questions. The location was quiet, but still an easy 5-10 minute walk to the center of town for entertainment and restaurants. We found this location to be a good home base for visiting all beaches. We enjoyed the grill, the garden and the friendly neighborhood cat.

Excellent home in great location

We really loved this house. It is one of the best VRBOs we have rented. It was perfectly clean, very up to date. A great example of quality construction, something I am a bit of an authority on. The only thing needed was written direction, in multiple languages, on how to operate the washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Other than that, this house is a great place to stay. Great location, comfortable bedding, clean; we would be quite happy to stay for several months.

House was spatious, immaculate, quiet, and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed, including laundry facilities which were much needed at the midpoint of a two-week trip. The private gated garden was lovely and parking was easy once we mastered backing in through the automatic gate. The beautiful town center was just a five minute walk, the first part along a narrow street, but mostly along a tree-lined stream. Exactly what our family of four needed for our excursions to Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and the American Cemetery.
