This was truly the perfect Highlands stay. Everything was exactly as advertised. The home could not have been a better fit for me, my wife, and our 3-year old son. The nature trail from the house to downtown is beautiful and the perfect way to start a day. We were a short drive to many waterfalls and attractions. For every meal or coffee out we just walked from the house. The communication, access, and wifi were all perfect. The house was spotless and included local guides/recs. We are already planning to return next fall!

Great location perfect for a quick getaway for my wife and I everything you need is furnished and it really is within walking distance of the main street. A few heels, but in the mountains, that’s what you would expect. Great host was very informative. Will definitely be back and this is a place. I’ll stay.

What a cute little cozy cabin to stay in!! We had the best time exploring Highlands, and this cabin was in a great location to be able to walk to town! Communications started a bit rocky, as we didn’t get check in info until 9:30 pm the night before arrival (having had a VRBO cancel on us before, this was very uncomfortable). We had reached out throughout the day on Saturday as well. However, once we met Lulu, she was an absolute doll. Super sweet and attentive. Would stay in this cabin again and recommend it to anyone who wants to walk to town and enjoy Highlands!!

We love staying at Cabin Bascom. The cabin is just the right size for the two of us, it’s well appointed and is close to town.

This cabin is super cute and a quick walk to town. There is two hills to get over when going into town but still an easy walk to town. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. The back yard is super cute-I wish there was some photos of the backyard so I could've planned better and added a night roasting s'more in the fire put. The fireplaces in both the living room and master suite was amazing on the chiller evenings. Internet was great. As expected in the mountains cell service and 5G was touch and go in some spots. Cabin is close to lots of hiking/waterfalls/sight seeing. I also LOVED the heated fan feature in the bathrooms!

Visiting for a wedding

Location was great- not right in town but close enough we could have walked to town via trails near our VRBO. The cottage was cute, big enough for our needs and was everything we wanted! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay!

Perfect cabin in a great location! The cabin has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hiking trial is right outside your door for a quick walk to town. We’ll be back!

Lovely time of year

Our favorite little cabin in Highlands is very comfortable and very close to downtown. It was a lovely time of year where we could enjoy the rides to different areas and enjoy the fall foliage.

Loved our stay at the Bascom Cabin. Great fireplaces. Very conftable. Conveniently located within easy walking distance to downtown Highlands. Grilled out several meals! Cut down on costs. Highly recommend cabin
