Cozy guest house for rent located in the historical Bellevue Avenue mansion district in Newport RI , my place is close to the beach ,family -friendly; activities, nightlife ,and public transport you’ll love my place because of the ambience ,the outdoor space ,the neighborhood, the comfy beds and the light. My place is good for couples ,solo adventurers ,business travelers ,and families (with kids).
DISCLAIMER * Before you continue reading this we have a strict policy on how many people are staying based on the request to reserve , unfortunately we’ve had many incidents that people book 1 or 2 guest and show up with 5+ , If this is the case please book elsewhere ..( security cameras on grounds of property)

Wedding getaway

We came up for a wedding in Bristol and decided to stay a few days to see Newport,Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard. This place is centrally located in a fun town. Great restaurants and activities. Had a Wonderful time.

Great Location!

Great location within walking distance to mansions, shopping, great dining. Hospitality items upon our arrival were a nice touch & the property manager on sight was helpful and friendly. Beach chairs & rain umbrellas were thoughtful items & came in handy!

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location

This is great quiet location just to the east of Bellevue Avenue. We were in town for the Newport Folk Festival that was one of the hottest weekends on record, and it was sooo nice to return to the cool seclusion of the cottage each night. Mia has provided everything you need for a stay with lots of cool drinks in the fridge on arrival, and I truly appreciated the spare complimentary toothbrush when I realized I'd forgotten mine! Overall a great place to stay!

Wonderful experience!!

The property was very clean and some added extras were included! Coffees, teas and a few snacks. Mia, the property owner was always available for questions and suggestions. I enjoyed talking with her! The deck/garden area was a very nice spot to relax in. I really enjoyed my stay!!

Cute place with a great location

The place is a great location to get around Newport both the town and Cliff Walk. A short bike ride to everything. Very cute and clean. My teenager loved the loft as his own bedroom. Mia was always on hand to answer questions.

Great spot in Newport!!!

This was our second year staying here and once again we really enjoyed it. You cannot beat the location. Around the corner from the Elms, international tennis hall of fame and the shopping plaza on Bellevue Ave if you need groceries. Also just a short walk to the Cliff Walk and other mansions. And a 15 minute walk to Thames Street and all restaurants and shops you want. Once you’re there you don’t need to use your car unless you want to go to second beach. A/C is great. Outdoor patio in the garden was great to have breakfast or dinner in. We love your house and Newport! Thanks Mia!

Quiet garden near great coffee

An attractive private garden in a quiet, lovely neighborhood is the setting for this property. From here you can explore much of Newport on foot. Ideal for 2 or 3; know that the access to the additional beds is a vertical metal ladder affixed to the wall. The all-talented Lisa manages the property and is ready to give directions, fix the plumbing, and zip long zippers on wedding attire. Check out Cru Cafe nearby to caffeinate and choose an interesting breakfast before your foot tour, or for a triple- espresso something before you start your drive home.

Perfect Location

This quiet and lovely location is one of the best things about this private “Carriage House” vacation rental. It is literally within walking distance to several of the Newport Mansions. Super clean. Perfect for a couple. If you have extra guests and plan to use the loft, you must be brave because the ladder is a bit of an adventure, but once you’re up there, the beds are quite comfy. Good private parking for a small sedan. Such a great, cozy spot to get up, go tour a mansion, come back for lunch and a nap and head back out to tour more (since the carriage house is right in the historic district and is close to the Mansions and Cliff Walk). The on-site manager is super sweet. My friend and I stayed for a week and just loved it.

Newport weekend

Mia has such a beautiful and unique property. The outdoors is so beautiful with a large deck area, chairs to sit and relax, and really cool and interesting objects all around to delight. The unit is beautiful and charming. A large bedroom with an overhead loft for a few extra people. They will have to climb up a ladder to get there, but it adds to the charm of the unit. The bathroom has soft towels , and the bed is very comfy. There is a small kitchen and Mia has thoughtfully left coffee, waters, coffee cream, and bananas. The location is perfect. Downtown is a half mile away, and Bellevue Avenue is a block away. Everything is within walking distance to the best of Newport. I loved every second.!

Quiet and comfortable stay in Newport

My family (2 adults, 2 toddlers) stayed here for a few days during the 4th of July weekend. The location is very quiet, peaceful, and serene. Mia greeted us when we arrived and encouraged us to let her know if we had any questions or needed help with anything. The guesthouse was very clean and beautifully decorated. There was a keurig, k cups, snacks, water, kitchen utensils, and even a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Mia was very thoughtful and put toy trucks and bubbles on the patio for our kids to play with when we were outside. Although we didn’t end up walking anywhere, you could easily walk to almost all of the Newport attractions. This is a perfect location for a couple. If you are planning to stay here with young children, you will have to watch them carefully - there are steep steps leading up to the guesthouse, a steep ladder leading to the loft area, and quite a few breakable decorations. We were aware of this going into it and it was not a problem for us - we put the breakable items out of reach and blocked access to the stairs. Overall, we had a great stay!
