Absolutely stunning location and exactly what we hoped for. Oasis nestled in the heart of wine country but secluded and private. Really a gem! Highly recommend. Thank you!
Fantastic property in serene location including mild earthquake and wildlife.
More towels and crisper hotel like sheets would elevate experience

Thank you for being a great guest. We enjoyed hosting you and hope to see you again soon. We will certainly take a look at the typical towel count we have available typically we try to be a green as possible with just enough towels and some laundry detergent to wash some if need be, but we will take a look at that for future stays. Also if we know ahead of time you would like extra towels we can make sure to provide. As far as the sheets go we use Restoration Hardware sheets which are typically high quality but thank you for the input as we are always trying to improve our guests experience.
We were a group of six ladies from Spain and Mexico and we had an amazing time. The house is beautiful, exactly like the photos, or even better. It’s decorated with a lot of elegance, and every detail was carefully thought out to welcome us. We used the pool and shared unforgettable moments that we will cherish dearly. We might come back next year because we’re already eager to return to that spectacular house.
Catia and Mike helped us with all our questions immediately,. The best!"
The home and location were beautiful, and the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would have loved a few more items on hand that are typically found at VRBOs (soap, shampoo, wash cloths, Kleenex, cooking oil), but those are minor complaints. Our first 24 hours were a bit rough (especially at this price point) in terms of how HOT the house got without A/C or sufficient fans during a very high temperature week. We also were awakened at 5:30 a.m. by jackhammering on the farmland and a crew of 10-15 men walking around the property. It was not disclosed to us that they'd be there and it definitely startled us as three women staying alone at the house. I think all of our little "gripes" about our stay could have been resolved if we'd just known to expect them ahead of time. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives and we loved many aspects of the property. The house itself is beautiful and made for a nice place to relax during our time in Sonoma County. (Note: The road up to the house takes a solid 7-10 mins from the highway turnoff. I'd definitely recommend AWD on the bumpy bits! We were glad we had a Jeep!)

Thank you for your review Lauren.
With the COVID protocols soap and shampoo etc where not provided as a safety precaution at the time of your stay however as California started to relax some of the rules we provide all those amenities. The property is listed without AC and is clearly described before you book and the rooms all have fans and so far this summer with some temperatures in the 90’s we’ve had no gripes as the house stays relatively cool.
My apologies for the vineyard workers unscheduled early morning arrival. We did not know they where going to be working on the vineyard that morning and had let them know to call us to schedule a time after your visit. We talked to them about the misunderstanding and I can certainly understand why that would be an intrusion for you. The road to the Villa is accessible with or without four wheel drive and we’ve had small and large vehicles to the property without four wheel drive many times.
We enjoyed hosting you Lauren and once again thank you for your stay.
The home was every bit the beauty it was shown to be online, full of charm and comfort. I am forever grateful for the family time and new memories we made over this past weekend. This gorgeous home was perfect for 6 people. The hosts are gracious and very responsive- great communication! I highly recommend.
We loved our stay at Villa Gaia! The pool was absolute heaven. Glen Ellen is a sweet little town and close to many wine tastings. Easy access into Sonoma and Napa as well.
Hosts were excellent and very responsive! I would definitely recommend staying here!
