ATTENTION, ATTENTION RATES DETAIL: the instant quote feature on the set up of VRBO's website can be misleading at first glance. A maximum of 8 people are allowed on the property at any given time.
Off-season (Mid September-Late May) requires a minimum 2 night stay. Off-season 2026 rates are: $240/night for 2 people, plus $60 per each additional person whether they are day guests only or over night. Please be accurate with your group numbers in requesting a reservation as the owner will need to edit your quote to reflect the total head count prior to confirming. NOTE - During off-season, no refunds will be granted for lessening the confirmed reservation group size. However, additional guests (not exceeding 8 people total) will be allowed subject to advance approval of owner. (Contact owner directly for details.)
Prime season (Late May-Mid September) requires a minimum stay of one week (7 nights). Weeks are Sunday to Sunday. The 2026 prime season weekly rate is $3395 for up to 8 people.
Rates do not include 6% MI occupancy tax or a refundable security deposit (see VRBO at check out). Additional fee for dogs (maximum of 2) is $28 per dog, per day or $175 per dog, per week; inquire with owner on pet details and rules.
SPECIAL NOTE: A general liability waiver is required to be signed, prior to arrival. See waiver under "my attachments". Owner will also email one to you.
PROPERTY DETAIL: Welcome to the Lake House for every season! Nestled between poplar covered sand dunes, this contemporary 3 bedroom (sleeps up to 8) ranch style home offers a partial view of Lake Michigan and a striking panoramic view of North Grand Mere Lake. The home includes a short walk to a private sandy beach access on Lake Michigan and a (seasonal) wading stream. Among many amenities, WIFI is available, Roku TVs (remember to bring your log in accts to enjoy your favorite apps), gas fireplace, a private in ground swimming pool (closes Mid-September for the winter/opens in early May), 4-5-person hot tub (open year round), outdoor fire pit and large wrap-around deck. Come to enjoy serene views, beautiful snow falls, wildlife, endless sunsets, relaxing walks and a private sandy beach. If you like action, you're only 10 to 20 minutes away from the popular destination towns of St. Joseph and New Buffalo. We're located at exit 22, off of I-94. Stay at the Lake House for a week in the prime season or a minimum two-night getaway during the off-season and enjoy it all!
