We loved staying here for 3 weeks. Wonderful location and the home was comfortable and perfect for our needs. Josh was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Highly recommend this home!

Perfect lakeside vacation

We absolutely loved this home. It was beautiful and spacious inside and had a great lawn for the kids to play on. It was a peaceful neighborhood. The playground and beach were very close as well. We would love to stay here again in the future.

The cabin is beautiful and was perfect for our family of 5. We caught plenty of fish off the dock and found plenty to do in the area. Great place, thanks!

Perfect cabin vacation

Adorable home, clean and stocked with everything you’ll need including bug spray and beach towels. The park across the lake was great for the kids as well as the large grassy lawn and the small beach/sand area.

Beautiful cottage

Loved the details of this cottage. It was beautifully decorated. We had 7 people and there was plenty of room for all. Lake Brophy is a weedy lake so I was happy we had a boat as the weeds in front of the dock made it difficult for the kids to fish. The cabin had all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It was clean and ready for guests when we arrived. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful!

This property was exactly as advertised. The lake is just a beautiful as the cottage. There is to a of room, good fishing from the dock and we enjoyed spending time gathered around a fire, watching lions on the lake and playing cards inside at night. Highly recommend!

Couples Getaway

Went to the cottage in Alexandria with my husband to celebrate his birthday and have a relaxing getaway from our two young children. We had the most amazing and relaxing time! The cottage was cozy, comfortable, clean and provided the R&R we needed. I loved this place, and as soon as we got home I immediately wanted to start planning our next stay at the cottage. Highly recommend!

August 2023 stay

This is a great property. The last stay was our second vacation stay in the house. Couldn't be more happy with the house and its contents. Property manager Josh is great to deal with as well

Amazing Cabin

My family and I spent the fourth of July weekend at this cabin and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed, and had more than enough room for the six of us. We enjoyed swimming and sitting on the dock or tree swing most of the day and ended every night at the fire pit. The kids are already asking when we're going back.

The lake home is beautiful. Very peaceful. We found out fishing isn't good in the fall, but there plenty of other lakes around!

Peaceful retreat

Beautiful quiet property with everything you need to unplug, relax and unwind. Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to gather as a family but also spaces for privacy for all family members to take needed moments of solitude. Host is very responsive to questions and process of check-in/out very quick and convenient. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in our home town for an extended period.

Family Wedding Weekend!

Celebrated my son’s wedding at Carlos Creek Winery and our stay was perfect and this house….oh my it’s so beautiful! The view is amazing and so close to the water. Everything you’d need for the weekend is right there!

Perfect beach house

We loved our stay at this beautiful beach house. The open floor plan kept everyone together and maximized our quality time. The kitchen was well equipped, everything we needed was right there. Great proximity to pick up groceries and check out many different parks. Will likely be back in the future! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay! Communication regarding check in and needs during the stay was easy and answered promptly. The listing is very accurate, the home is comfortable and located close to everything you might need. Our only issue was that the weeds made it impossible to swim at the beach or off the dock. It may not be an issue earlier in the summer, but a large part of the reason we chose this house was for the swimming. We recommended property management purchase a weed roller to keep on the property for future guests.

Don't be Blue

There is no way to be blue at this cabin. The lake is fantastic, and the fishing was too! Granted we were fishing for anything my 8- and 10-year-old kids could catch. Great location minutes from Alex. Just a nice place to relax. Rod

First guests

We happened to be Brophy sunrise first guests! Place was BEAUTIFUL and everything we expected. Lots of supplies in house. 2 families stayed here. Kids loved the “kid” room. Lake has wonderful fishing and plenty of room for recreation for its smaller size. The dock is weedy but er brought a Maui Mat and kids played all day on that in water. We will be back!

Beautiful stay on Brophy

The house was perfect for our week stay, because it was well-appointed with all we needed, except the toaster was broken so used the oven instead 😊 Loved the open concept of the kitchen and living room, large windows looking out to the water, and the decor was very cute. Very close to Alexandria for shopping and dining. Nothing to do with the house, but Brophy is grassy from shore to about 10-15 ft out, so just made getting jet skis in and out a little difficult. Enjoyed out stay.
