Absolutely brilliant two weeks. Enjoyed listening to the river as well as drifting along in it. Saw wonderful wildlife. Perfect and tranquil setting. Elaine and Richard were perfect hosts, there if needed but both us and them had privacy. Would highly recommend
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house in a wonderful location. Our hosts Eliane and Richard were super friendly and helpful whilst remaining discreet and totally respecting our privacy.
The house is lovely, very clean and well equipped, everything you need to self cater, comfortable beds and a log burner (which we didn’t need) for chilly evenings.
The location is just amazing, very close to Ruffec for shopping but so calm and peaceful. It really is on a little island so there is always the sound of water, we did swim in the weir - very cold in June but so refreshing!
A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature, we will be back!
