We had a wonderful fall break getaway! The house was just as pictured, super clean, cute, and had everything we needed and more, both inside and out. Our family of four loved the peaceful, quiet surroundings, and seeing wild turkeys and deer wander through the yard was an added bonus! We enjoyed exploring Mammoth Cave and going horseback riding nearby. We would absolutely stay here again. The cleanliness, charm, and relaxing setting made this a great place to unwind and enjoy time together as a family!
My daughter and two grandsons had a great stay at "A Stones Throw". We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage, lake and area. Fishing from the dock and smores at the fire pit were high points as well as being convenient to Mammoth Caves National Park. Playing corn hole was a treat as well as the selection of board games inside. Highly recommend!!
We enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised and clean. We took advantage of the kayaks and went out for a couple of hours on the lake. The deck area could use a good power washing. Otherwise, we left with fun memories.
As title says amazing place to take a family vacation. We spent spring break here. Kids loved the kayaks, fishing, campfires and just hanging out. Would do again
We had a fantastic time! The accommodations were excellent—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, making meals easy. We especially loved the kayaks—such a great bonus—and the beautiful surroundings made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend!
Very well put together vacation home. Had everything needed for a relaxing stay. S'mores station was definitely a hit with the kids. Would love to visit again during the summer to enjoy the lake.
This is the second time we stayed here and we love it. It has everything you need for a great stay on the lake. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!’
This was the perfect getaway for our family of 5. The property was very clean and appointed with all the things that we needed to just focus on family and fun. The hosts were wonderful and greeted us with a smores welcome basket and were prompt in responding to questions.

The house was perfect! It was clean, well equipped and had an amazing location. Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking and boating. Highly recommend!
Place was clean and right on the water was a plus. We enjoyed our time there and will be back for another stay. Owners also was great making sure everything was in order for us. Thanks again to be able to add your place to our memories ❤
A stones throw was the perfect spot for our family trip. The house was great and Melissa was easy to communicate with. We really appreciated the firewood, smores kit, and beach towels. We would be happy to come back and stay again.
This house was the perfect place to stay and check out Mammoth Cave and surrounding areas. Two of our days were simply spent on the lake and at the house playing games and enjoying the fire pit. Not too far from any kind of attraction, well equipped, and comfortable.
We had a peaceful stay and loved the access to the kayaks. The house is on a quiet street so able to do some walking. The house was clean and had everything you may have forgotten.
This was this perfect spot for us we have three younge boys and they loved the house and being by the lake. My boys fished all day and we used the kayaks one day and we loved the s’more station!
We had a great time at this Cabin. The location was remote but still close enough to needed services. Cozy and loaded with many extras including a s’more kit that the kids loved. Top notch amenities throughout the cabin. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle.
