The bach offered more than we expected. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and hope to go back very soon.
Very nice, clean. Only tip would be to be to provide a plug box in second bedroom. With only one electrical outlet - and that needed for the bedside light was nowhere to charge phone etc in the room.
Stunning lake view, super clean, friendly owners with amazing communication, beautiful quiet village, easy walk to lake, cosy house and lovely and warm with the fire. We will definitely be back
Amazing stay. Bach has everything we needed and more. Stunning views and host excellent to deal with. Looking forward to our next stay and would highly recommend. Thank you again !
The property had a beautiful view in a quiet spot. It was warm , it had a fire and firewood avaliable. and the bed was comfortable. The community was very safe and friendly. I had the most restful time there, and would love to go again.
Brilliant kiwi bach, less than 5 mins walk to the lake.Everything we needed for a fews day away from routine.Would be very cosy in the winter too with its log fire. Thanks so much, we'll be back. Not the crowds of taupo but only an hour drive away
Bach is a small house essentially so has everything you need, awesome big deck with an amazing view, 5 min walk to the lake, we will definitely be back when we have more time to enjoy it!
My daughter and I, the cottage was comfortable with great views over Lake Taupo. As itās summer we sat outside as much as we could. The beds were comfortable ,all rooms other than bathroom have lake views. Whareros is off the beaten track but a lovely corner. My only problem was getting into the shower, my knees donāt bend very well.

The location so handy to the south west end of lake Taupo, with great elevated views to see conditions on the water.
Within a safe quiet community.
Batch sited well with great out door decking.
Indoor comfortable and adequate.
Some standeds of improvement would help improvement the experience and desire to return. Like better pressure in shower. Cleaning product like dishwashing liquid refilled.
But all in all highly recommend this as a great place to stay.
A lovely home away from home and has all you need for a relaxing stay. The new deck is wonderful, from which we enjoyed the view, read books and relaxed with a drink in hand.
Thank you so much Robyn for a wonderful stay we will definitely be back. Property was spotless and view was amazing. Thanks for being so great to deal with !
Fabulously situated in a quaint little bay on the western shore of Lake Taupo, Bobās Bach is a great example of a clean & well maintained, traditional bach. It is a very well equipped property & handy to the lakeside, only 5 minutes walk down the hill. Robyn was so helpful & very prompt in her communications. Spending a couple of nights here to myself was a wonderful experience & I really look forward staying again in future & bringing my husband & kids next time.
