We had a wonderful time and this home fit our needs perfectly. Great location within walking distance to everything - shops, restaurants, the harbor and more. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were extremely accommodating! We would definitely stay here again when traveling to the area.

This is a beautiful home, conveniently located close to downtown so that we could walk downtown for restaurants and shopping. I have never before stayed in a rental with a kitchen that was so well-stocked. The hosts were very quick with their responses when we had a question. We had perfect fall weather and were fortunate to spend time outside on the back deck. This house had the perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms for our two families. I would definitely stay here again.

Such a perfect location! Easy access to the shops and shore, without being right in the thick of the action. Backyard retreat with tall trees and ocean breeze. Thoughtful recommendations from the hosts, lots of space, and check in and out were amongst the simplest we’ve experienced. Would recommend enthusiastically to anyone!

Perfect location to downtown Bar Harbor and Just short drive to the park. The Shoreline Trail into town was only a five minute walk away. Beautiful views! Loved loved loved the house!!! it had all the amenities even a huge selection of spices and Ziploc baggies. They’re receding for all seven of us in the living room comfortably. The dining room table was also adequately sized. The kitchen was a dream to cook in. We even made a blueberry coffee cake and didn’t have to buy any extra pans. We would definitely stay again. The farmers market was 2 blocks away and had great options to enhance our vacation experience.

Great location. It was in a quiet, safe neighborhood, and it was close to shops, restaurants and the Shore Path. It had everything we needed with room for our whole family.

The house was a great place. It was at the end of town so you didnt have all the traffic. But it was close enough you can easily walk to. Great coffee shop around the cornor if your needing that. But very easy walk into BH. We had the kids and grand kids there and the house was just right for all of us. It has a great backyard that we had wiffle ball games and home run derby every day and night. We rented a nuber of houses and this one is right up there with the best. They thought of everything and the kitchen is the heart and it has everything. We said that the house was if we lived there becasue everything was provided. The host was great in cummunicating and is in the area becasue we locked ourselves out. And she was there to help. Great place we will rent this house again on a return trip. Also it was located in a great spot to head into Acadia park.

The 6 of us all enjoyed our stay! We found this house to be very clean, well appointed with very thoughtful touches throughout. The host was very accommodating to a special request. The house is walking distance to the center of Bar Harbor and in very close proximity to the gorgeous Shore Path which we walked along often during the week. Great house in a great location.

Wonderful Stay in Bar Harbor

Lovely home in great location. Easy walk to all the Bar Harbor shops, plus close to a great playground and the farmers market. Super clean and well-appointed. It is obvious the owner takes great care of this home. Would highly recommend!

This was a great house for your family! The location can't be beat. We appreciated that the house was not only stocked with the basics, but extras like beach towels, bug spray, tupperware, etc. The AC units worked well during a hot week. Very comfortable and well maintained.

We’ve been staying in Bar Harbor for many summers, and bounced around many properties looking for “the one”. I dare say we’ve found it. The perfect combination of space, convenience, charm, and town living. The kids loved the backyard, and the proximity to the park. The adults loved the gas fire pit, the stocked kitchen, and the short walk to town. We will definitely be booking this again for our summer family retreats.

Repeat stay

Stayed at Avery Skye last year and liked it so much we booked it again this year. Perfect location so we could walk to town and get in and out of the park very easily. Jacqueline is a fantastic host and her house is well stocked-even had a cake server for an impromptu birthday cake we bought. We loved all of the games and puzzles too.
