Family break

We had a great time, there were 11 of us, the weather was not great so we had the fire roaring, the board games were out, we did manage a swim in the lake with the air temp at about 12 degrees. We also got the out side bath going with a good fire underneath. Most of the cooking was done on the very good BBQ which was under cover and very clean. There were beds for everyone everything was clean and very interesting, plenty of books to read. We would do it again.

We were riding Craters of the Moon and W2K over the weekend, the house was an ideal position for these, lots of room, beautiful surrounds.

Why they chose this property

We love our house because it is private, large, and rural but close enough to go to town whenever we wish. Our home is in Acacia Bay Area of Taupo .Close to Whakaipo Bay, a beautiful peaceful bay. We are close to the lovely little L'Arte Cafe with beautiful mosaics art and gardens. We love our property because of its lovely surroundings. There is an acre of gardens and orchards, the whole property is surrounded by working farms, trees, and its own large wetland.

What makes this property unique

There is ample room for 10 cars plus boats in the driveway with parking in the paddock to be arranged. Taupo Farm Villa is a large older house, with a beautiful garden set out for privacy and fun.
The villa has decks on each side so you can sit outside and relax, have a coffee and watch the kids, or enjoy reading a book.
There is a separate gazebo in the orchard with seating and a new bbq.
The paddocks have horses, ducks, quail, and many other birdlife.
The 1 acre garden with fruit trees and flowers is a special place to relax.
The night sky is so clear and open that an evening of stargazing at the Milky Way is a must.
