Everything was great just like the first time we stayed. This time we had my brother and his family with mum and I and was perfect size for our week stay.
Great property, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'd definitely recommend this to others and we'd like to stay here again. Pity about the neighbours dogs barking all night sometimes.
First visit to Turangi, we found it a great little town with good amenities. Lots of walks to do in the area. The bach was an excellent place to stay, clean and well kept, easy access, and great value for money
Do you remember how you felt checking out your grandma stuff in her house? Maybe it was something interesting in her cupboard, or maybe some items you couldn't just buy from a super market, like a peculiar looking rock. We had that feeling again staying in this beautiful bach. Oh, and it's pretty close to other attractions in the area such as Huka Honey Hive, Huka Falls, National Trout Center...The house has everything we ever need for a long stay. Totally recommended. We will definitely book this bach again if we ever come back to Taupo.
It was a really good stayover. The TV/DVD player was a hit-and-miss, with only a few DVDs for reading and playing. The Neighbourhood dogs had a few howling sessions throughout the night.
Just needed a place to sleep for a couple of nights after racing our A-Class catamarans. Was everything we expected. House was tidy, warm and dry. Beds comfortable. Although outside the nights were cold the heat pump wasn't necessary. Quiet neighborhood except for dogs occasionally barking across back fence but quiet during the night. Won't hesitate to book again.
Comfortable. Homely. Clean. Nothing bad to say, at all! My daughter loved the variety of movies. Couches are soooo comfy . Would 100% go back. Great price

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, location
Good family house but not very clean
The house was generally suitable for a family stay, but in terms of cleanliness٫ it was not good. During our stay, we saw a few cockroaches, and even hand soap was not available for washing hands.
Awesome little place to stay. Very tidy and comfortable.

We are a family of five that loves getting away to the out doors. We love all that Turangi has to offer as a family holiday destination. The river and lake fishing, mountain biking, village dining, skiing, hot pools and various other more touristy attractions. We use our place as a technology detox so no WIFI. It is time to read a great book ( excellent library in town)play traditional family board games and share conversation. We recommend walking down to the river and breathing the fresh air.
Why they chose this property
Look this is a family bach in every sense of the word. It is well maintained and nice an clean but we do expect you to have a similar holiday to ours. That does mean leaving the place as you found it, replacing what you use and disposing of your own rubbish. We are confident you will have a really awesome time in Turangi and our bach is a really great base. We love it when people see things that need to be done when they are there and let us know about it so we can see to it. Some really awesome people might even do a bit of weeding in the garden or replace a battery for us when they are there. It is all appreciated to keep the place ticking over and keep the price right down.
