The cabin is beautifully appointed, looking over Buck Lake. It's not the easiest path to get there from the parking spot, especially with the cooler and luggage, but there is a wheelbarrow you can use which helped. It took us a day or so to figure out a rhythm and once we did it was really lovely. If the cabin was right on the water, it would be even better of course - but the listing promised lake views, not waterfront - and the view is truly spectacular. The mini ceiling fan over the bed was a life saver as we were there during a heat wave. Rob and Monica were the most excellent hosts. Very responsive, and the manual that comes with the cabin is full of local info and history.
