Picton Has lots of lovely Cafes and Restaurants to enjoys some of Marlboroughs finest Wines. There are lots of winery tours to fill in a sunny afternoon. Take a water taxi to one of the wonderful lodges for lunch in the sounds and see the dolphins. There is a lot to do with the children down on the waterfront mini golf, merry go round, mini train rides, waterpark and playgrounds. Or just take the boat and enjoy the wonderful sounds fishing.

We had a lovely stay at Gaylene’s. Check in was very easy and the spa was heated for us upon arrival. Everything we needed was there and the property is a quick walk to trails and into town.

This was such a lovely and inviting home. The beds were comfy, the house was immaculate, the decor was amazing, and the location was fantastic. Short drive to an amazing Thai food restaurant and a straight shot to the Interislander Ferry terminal. This house sat at the end of a street that then led right to a beautiful hike overlooking the town and down to a beautiful bay. Lots of trails for more hiking options and mountain biking. I would definitely recommend this property

What a beautiful home for our family weekend away! Beautifully presented with lots of interesting art to stir the soul! Clean tidy and well equipped with everything you could need. We absolutely loved Jon and Gaylene’s home! Convenient to everything, quiet, beautifully decorated, and filled with every amenity you can think of. The gardens are meticulously tended and the outdoor areas a pleasure to be in. A truly amazing stay with lovely, communicative, thoughtful hosts!
