Port Bouvard Escape – large canal home with private jetty
Well-appointed canal home with direct access to private jetty and water activities galore such as swimming, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, crabbing and fishing.
The house is situated in the exclusive Port Bouvard East Port Canals and is designed for relaxed, casual living with a focus on comfort. The home has all the mod cons, and is in an absolute waterfront location with great views.
Bring your own boat (or hire a boat) and keep it at your private floating jetty. Explore the magnificent and vast waterways. Go fishing, crabbing, or skiing. Travel out the Dawesville Cut to test your skills at some deep-sea fishing, take a quick trip into the centre of Mandurah, or to the Port Bouvard Marina and enjoy a relaxing breakfast, leisurely lunch, or take in the nightlife at one of the many taverns or restaurants in the area – several within walking distance.
Light up the BBQ in the Alfresco area or relax on the large balcony and enjoy your favourite refreshment whilst gazing at the water views. (Keep an eye out for the playful dolphins who are regular visitors). Watch the kids go for a swim and have fun off the jetty while you sip a cocktail at one of the outdoor bar tables.
Crab nets and fishing rods are supplied so try your luck at crabbing, fishing or squidding off the jetty – you may even catch one of those many Bream you see swimming past! Explore the pristine waterways using one of the supplied kayaks or stand up paddleboards.
Take a leisurely stroll along the Cut to stop for a coffee, fish and chips or a Café meal at the Marina. Wander down to the nearby park with the kids to kick the footy, relax inside by playing one of the many board games or perhaps play a tournament on the table tennis table. Challenge each other on one of the many games supplied with the 2 PlayStations.
Check out the other activities in the area with the free Wi-Fi. Maybe play a round of golf at the nearby Cut Golf course, have an evening at the Greyhounds in Mandurah, follow a Filly at the Pinjarra Races, experience some local fauna at the Peel Zoo, nestle in for an afternoon at one of the local wineries, go shopping at the Mandurah Forum or Miami Plaza, grab a pie from the famous Miami Bakehouse or just blow the froth of a few whilst having a flutter at the Cobblers Tavern!

Terms & Conditions We do want to make sure you enjoy your stay however we just ask that guests respect our neighbours with limited noise and no loud noise after 10.00 pm. The property is on the canal which is a very visible and open area so any unreasonable noise/behaviour can negatively impact on the neighbourhood.
VISITORS/PARTIES/EVENTS/GATHERINGS: Events such as (but not limited to) Buck's nights, Hen's nights, weddings, 18th and 21st parties etc are strictly not permitted. We have a strict NO PARTIES/EVENTS rule.
For more low-key occasions or if you would like any visitors to visit you during your stay at the property, prior permission must be sought. Approval for visitors or a low-key occasion will be dependent on the numbers of overnight guests and the reason for the visitors or what the occasion is. This will be assessed on a case by case basis.
If it is discovered that a party/event/gathering has taken place at the property, without prior permission given, this may result in the loss of all or part of the bond.
Please Note: There are to be no inflatable or any other form of pools, spas, baths, etc set up at this location. Inflatable pool toys for use in the canal when swimming is fine. For safety and insurance reasons there are to be no bikes, skateboards, scooters, roller skates, roller blades, ride on toys or any other form of rolling-type pedestrian conveyance equipment (child or adult) to be used on the canal side of the house in any of the areas which includes but is not limited to the paved, tiled and limestone surfaces.
Please don’t feed the Seagulls as it is not good for their health and also creates issues with them nesting in the area and constantly squawking.
Must be over 25 years old to make booking
Number of guests must not exceed the number on your booking. A $50 penalty per person per day for the entire booking will be charged for any additional non-approved guests, regardless of age, so if necessary please submit any additional guest requests for consideration prior to your stay. Prior permission must be obtained for any guest numbers over 10 up to a maximum total guest number of 12. Extra fees will apply for any approved additional guests.
Check out time may be extended by request subject to availability.
Minimum booking of 2 nights is required with the exception of long weekends which has a 3 night minimum stay. School holidays have a minimum 5 night stay.
Long stay discount (7 days or more) does not apply over school holiday periods.
CCTV cameras are installed to the outside of the property which are predominantly used for security when the property is empty. These cameras may also be viewed at check in / out or circumstances such as where there are complaints from neighbours or damage to the property. Noise monitor alarms are also installed to monitor noise levels only.
No charging of electric vehicles allowed.
Under no circumstances is any of the outdoor furniture to be used inside the house, or indoor furniture to be used outside the house. Any damage to flooring or furniture resulting from this will be recovered from the guest. No additional tables, chairs or furniture are to be used at the house, either indoors or outdoors, for this same reason.

Fantastic house with a wonderful balcony and jetty for our boat. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of rooms for our teenage bous. Trev was super responsive to any questions we had during our stay.

Thanks for letting me know about the spiders, I will make sure the cleaners spray for them and get rid of any webs as they haven't been an issue in the past but we need to keep on top of it.
A neighbour mentioned the kayak to our cleaners after your stay so I have since been down and patched the split and also installed some new bungs in 2 of the kayaks. I also have some replacement handles on order for the kayaks so when I go down to fit them next week I will see how the hull patch is holding.
Once again thanks for letting me know about it as otherwise we are unaware of issues like this that happen over time from use. Apologies if it impacted on your stay.

We had a lovely holiday. The rooms are all clean and bedding warm and cozy. The home is well appointed and perfect for the parents to stay upstairs and kids to play down stairs. Lots of fun crabbing and kayaking.

I love the amazing waterfront view of this house with jetty especially during the sunrise. This modern and stylish house is big, spacious and very clean. The 2 bathrooms are big and all the beds and big sofas are very comfortable. The big kitchen has all the utensils and cutlery we needed to prepare our meals. It is only a short drive to beaches, and there is a new Florida Beach Shopping Village to get our grocery. This host is very friendly and responsive. I would love to stay here again.
