Lookout Mountain has captivated hang gliding enthusiasts for decades, offering the thrill of soaring above stunning landscapes and rugged cliffs alongside majestic eagles. The Brow House, built by local flyer David Benjamin in the 1980s, features a private launch spot designed for gliders to take flight and experience the unparalleled beauty of Lookout Mountain from above.

Just ten minutes from iconic attractions like Rock City and Ruby Falls, Brow House is ideally situated for all your sightseeing needs. You’ll be less than 30 minutes from Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon, renowned for their beautiful waterfalls, hiking and biking trails, kayaking, and horseback riding.



The property features inviting landscapes tucked away by mature trees and offers ample off-street parking for easy access to local attractions. Relax on the front porch in rocking chairs, welcoming family and friends as they arrive.



Upon entering, you’ll notice that The Brow House is anything but a typical mountain retreat. Embracing a late mid-century style with influences from the decor of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, this home invites you to explore its refreshing, western mountain aesthetic. Large rear windows provide unobstructed views of the endless mountains, leading you to the expansive deck, complete with a large dining table, and ample seating.



The cozy family room features an oversized sectional perfect for unwinding, playing games, and soaking in the mountain views and sunsets. A romantic wood-burning fire stove adds warmth on cool nights, while a big-screen TV nearby caters to sports enthusiasts. The well-equipped kitchen boasts a peninsula counter for meal prep, a coffee bar (with both a pot and K-cup machine, plus complimentary coffee to start your day), and all the necessary appliances and utensils. A dining table invites you to gather for meals, games, and puzzles.



On the first floor, you'll find two bedrooms with king beds, one featuring a trundle bed for extra guests. All bedding is brand new, including allergen-protective encasements to ensure your comfort and safety. Each home is deep cleaned and sanitized after every checkout, with white linens and towels to guarantee cleanliness.



Upstairs, the spacious main bedroom offers a king bed and stunning views of the mountains and Lookout Valley. The large bathroom features dual vanities, a spa tub, a clean sauna, and plenty of natural light, creating a perfect retreat as you prepare for your day of exploration. A fold-out convertible sofa is available for a young adult or two children.

We love hosting furry friends! Pets are welcome with prior approval, and a pet fee applies. Please reach out with details about your pet before booking so we can ensure the perfect stay for everyone!



The guest count you provide must be accurate as there can be additional guest fees. Notify us if you need to adjust the guest count before arrival. A fine of $25 per night will be applied for each undeclared guest.



Reminder: If a guest missed the checkout time, additional fees will be added. If more than 2 hours past checkout, we will charge for an additional day.



We engage in pest control at all of our properties, however, due to the rural nature of some of our properties guests may encounter insects and other small creatures. This can include ladybugs, flies, scorpions, mice, etc.
