Welcome to Happy Highlander, in the Highlander complex!
A professionally decorated townhome adjacent to the Snowflake Lift with access to Peaks 8 & 9 and a short walk to Main Street Breckenridge. Located at the 300 block of Kings Crown Rd, Breckenridge, CO. The Happy Highlander has 3 bedrooms + loft, 3.5 bathrooms, a private hot tub, 2 fireplaces, and radiant floor heat throughout.
The 2400-square-foot property, which includes a great room, dining room, deck with hot tub, kitchen on the main level, and bedrooms above and below, is designed for daytime interaction and nighttime privacy.
* Located across the street from the private Snowflake Chairlift Plaza (essentially ski-in/out) At the Snowflake Lift is a Lift Ticket Office
* Just a short walk to historic Breckenridge ~ there is no need to take a car into town and find parking.
* The townhome is also an incredibly short walk to the private, upper village pool and hot tubs.
The main level features an open floor plan and a great family-friendly room, including...
* a soft, leather sectional couch, 2 deep-cushion, leather chairs, a gas fireplace with a stone hearth, and an elk sculpture
* vintage skiing decor i.e. skis, a toboggan & snow shoes mounted on the upper walls
* a wet bar....have your libations delivered!
* a wall-mounted 40" Sony flat screen SMART TV viewable from anywhere in the great room area
* a luxurious powder room with an upgraded granite wash basin & elegant aspen-inspired mirror
* Colorado slate flooring with radiant floor heating - truly comfortable even during a blizzard
Adjacent to the great room is a private deck with a new hot tub - perfect for relaxing with the kids or a glass of wine while gazing at the night lights of Breckenridge, the Milky Way, or, during the day, the Colorado landscape and wildlife.
The deck overlooks a 1/2 acre of wildflowers in the summer and open space, including multiple rock gardens.
As an end unit, it has uncommon privacy for a ski area property.
The dining area features an elk chandelier, an antique walnut dining table, and an authentic Indian woven rug. It seats 8, including six people in leather seating in the dining room and the adjacent breakfast bar.
Sleeping arrangements can accommodate up to 8 adults and include:
* BEDROOM 1: top-floor, professionally decorated master suite with a king-size bed, 32-inch flat screen SMART TV, gas fireplace, and walk-in closet. The bathroom has been completely re-decorated with granite countertops, an antique chandelier, a soaking tub, a fully enclosed shower, and his/her sinks
* A LOFT AREA with a deck and a loveseat is perfect for relaxing with a good book. The loveseat is a single sofa sleeper that accommodates a young child or a single adult.
* BEDROOM 2 lower level, with new carpeting and a professionally decorated, private master bedroom with a king-size bed, attached full bathroom with jetted tub, shower, his/her sinks, and walk-in closet
* BEDROOM 3 - twin beds, a trundle, an extra pull-out mattress, and an attached full bath
For your convenience, the townhome has a large laundry room equipped with a Bosch washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board—we provide a starter supply of laundry pods.
PARKING: Attached to the home is a private heated garage with plenty of room for putting on or taking off ski boots.
Across the street from the townhome is the Snowflake Chairlift and Blue Sky Lodge, which features a health spa, ski rentals, a lift ticket office, and ski storage.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. This end unit townhouse is perfectly situated in a townhouse complex that is just a few minutes walk from the Snowflake lift. This 3 bedroom unit was perfect for our needs and was in very good condition. The jacuzzi on the deck was perfect for a soak following a busy day on the slopes.

It's well kept and well furnished. The area is extremely close to snowflake lift and when snow is good you can fly down 4 oclock and just walk across street to your rental. Hot tub worked as it should. Kitchen was well kept for a big meal we prepared. Rooms are comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very nice unit and very convenient location
This unit has 3 good sized bedrooms, a comfortable living room with gas fireplace, a decent kitchen and dining area. The real pluses for us were a unit specific hot tub on the back deck and easy walk to the Snowflake lift and bus stop to Peak 8 base area (where there are lessons available.)

The property was excellent. Everything was very clean. It does have carpet in all the bedrooms. I would have preferred wood floors, as the carapet had some dirt build up around the edges of the walls. It's easily walkable to downtown but you don't feel like you're in the middle of a tourist area. Being an end unit, it felt very private. It is 3 levels with the master at the top and the other bedrooms in the basement part so if stairs are a concern, this unit may not be for you. The kitchen had everything you would need. The private garage is a very nice perk! We didn't use the hot tub, but it did look very clean. We did have an issue with one of the sinks in the masterbath not draining well, but Tisha sent Drew to fix it and he was great. Also fixed a couple of other things we had noticed while he was there. We would stay at this property again.

Appreciate your feedback and stay! The owners choose carpet for the bedrooms for a couple of reasons. Carpet is far more comfortable in the winter months, as this property does not have in-floor radiant heating, so tile or hardwood flooring would be very cold/uncomfortable. Also, the carpet does provide insulation to create the privacy and quiet you enjoyed during your stay. The owners are undertaking some remodeling work, and the carpets are scheduled for their semi-annual deep cleaning. We are very glad that you were impressed by our prompt service and excellent communication. We are a local/present team that strives for our guests' comfort and a great experience. Three generations vacation. The condo was perfect for our group. The youngest ones shared the downstairs room with 2 twin/trundle beds which has an en suite bathroom. The grandparents shared the downstairs queen bedroom that has a spacious closet and an en suite bathroom. The main living area was a great space for everyone to gather including on the deck that boats a hot tub. The master bedroom on the upper floor offers privacy with a king bed and its own bathroom. Think lots of space for the entire group. And the location couldn't be better. A quick 15 minute walk to Main Street and you have a multitude of restaurants, shopping and street entertainment waiting for you to explore. Also there's hiking trails very close to the condo. If walking to the local attractions isn't something you want to do there's a couple of bus stops very near to the condo where you can hop on a free ride. Our car didn't leave the garage in five days except for a trip to Buena Vista for a rafting adventure.Our host was quick to respond to a minor issue which was quickly resolved. Go. Stay. Play. Enjoy.
