Michel's Cabin is a rustic cozy 2 bedroom cabin with a small friendly kitchen and private deck with outdoor hot tub. Downstairs bedroom features a double bed and upstairs a queen size bed and 2 twin beds. There is a fold out futon in the living room. The deck features comfortable patio furniture, BBQ, and soothing 4 person hot tub that makes for a perfect getaway. Whether you're looking to enjoy a romantic escape with your partner, or getaway with some family or friends, Michel's Cabin is the place for you. This vacation rental Cabin also features free wireless internet.

Michel's Cabin is in a quiet residential area. We have a strictly enforced no groups, parties or late night noise policy; especially in the midst of the current pandemic.

Amazing stay, Michel has built this cosy home himself, and recycles everything he can find on the beach, while providing us surf planks for the kids.The location on the beach has one of the most wonderful views in the world

My wife, two kids and I were in Nanaimo for a week for one of my lifting competitions and we really wanted a place for a few days to wind down with beach access before heading home. We highly recommend Michels Cabin. Michel worked very hard to not only build the cabin itself but also was so creative with the walkway down to the beach and the garden surrounding the house. The place was clean, had 4 beds and awesome views from the deck facing the ocean. Never had an issue during our stay and communication from the property managers via email ahead of time was great (check in process, traffic updates etc.) We will book here again when back in Tofino

One-of-a-kind cabin built by hand with a lot of character and charm. Absolutely idyllic spot. Very private and quiet and yet in the heart of everything — steps from the beach, and a short walk from coffee, baking, tacos, homemade ice cream, and surf rentals. Beautiful yard that’s been similarly tended with a lot of care. It was definitely at the upper limit of our budget, but we could not have asked for more.

The place is great, charming and the view is amazing. Falling asleep with the sound of the ocean was wonderful. I would absolutely stay again. Only 8 minute drive to Tofino was very practical. My kids did not want to leave. L’endroit est parfait surtout pour une famille de quatre comme nous. La plage est magnifique et moins achalandée que Long beach. Nous avions l’impression d’avoir une plage privée.Thanks

Family late winter getaway

Had a great vacation at the cabin. The location is incredible and could not be better in Tofino. Beach access out the back door to Chesterman beach. Rental was comfortable for our family of 4. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Amazing

This place is a gem. The cabin itself has so much character and the grounds were beautiful and unique. The location was perfect. We rented bikes and didn’t even use our rental car for 2 days. Just a short bike ride to Tofino and even less to some restaurants and a small market. Only suggestion would be to clarify ahead of time that the cabin is attached to the owners house and the beach access is around the side of the owners house. Once we figured that out it was all perfect! Would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Tofino!

Loved our stay

I have stayed at Michels cabines on a number of occasions and will continue to come back. Beautiful location right on the beach and the cabin itself is a true cabin that gives you that great holiday feeling. The large deck is a big bonus.

Great location and charming cottage

This was our third trip to Tofino and we chose Michel’s cabin for its location in our favorite beach. It did not disappoint! The view from the deck was amazing and a path on the property offered quick access to the beach. The cabin itself was full of charm and offered all the amenities that we needed on our stay.

The sound of the surf will lull you to sleep

The location is ideal. It’s wonderful to be-able to sit in the cozy little cabin while watching the surfers ride the waves. The cabin (which it truly is) reminds me of times gone by, Tofino 30 years ago, which suits me just fine. We had a lovely stay.

Wonderful Family Vacation

This was our first family vacation and we had such a wonderful time. The beachfront location can't be beat (Chesterman Beach is just steps away and you can watch surfers from the window), and the cabin was well-stocked and cozy. We were worried how our autistic 6-year-old would fare being away from home, but he was the happiest we have seen him. Thank you so much for a relaxing stay and we will be back for sure.

Location location location

Excellent location, absolutely stunning spot. Cabin is capital R rustic- kitchen is a hodge lodge, beds are not great quality and shower has had an odd fix so that you have to stand against the curtain to be under the water. Would be great if there was an outdoor shower for after surfing, using the garden hose on the lawn was not great.

Great little retreat

We had a wonderful 4 day 3 night stay at Michel's. We loved the proximity to the beach and town. Great spot for storm watching! We had a minor issue with the toilet not flushing, but it was quickly fixed by the owner once he was notified of it. This is my second stay at Michel's Cabin and would return in a heartbeat! Thank you Michel!

Tofino Paradise

This cabin had everything for our family. My child is 3 and there was lots to entertain her. The place was better than we expected. Whoever is on the top sleeping area should be aware it’s a steep climb down the stairs. My kid thought it was very fun! Over all we really enjoyed the stay and will be back!

Rusticly Amazinfg!

Love this place! The views were amazing especially while sitting in the hot tub. Loved the sun room bedroom, especially for those who are not comfortable with ladder stairs to the upstairs bedroom. Was so nice to wake up to natural light shining in from the clear plastic roof. Great access to the beach. Great weekend spent with girlfriends I haven’t seen in several years. It is walking distance to Tacofino and other little restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

Near Perfection

Amazing place for our first (and future) visit to Tofino! Gorgeous view from the patio for morning coffee, lunch, dinner, and evening sunset beers in the hot tub! Beds were comfy (once we traded with our daughter sending her down to the soft double on the main floor and hiked the steep stairs to the firmer queen in the loft), space was clean and adequate. Only “complaint” was the spotty - often non-existant - wifi but that was mostly the kids as the adults came for the scenery. Location was PERFECT for us: >min to Chesterman beach, short drive (walkable) to Wildside Grill, Tacofino, and a tiny grocery). Less than 10 mins to town in one direction and Long Beach the other way, Ucluelet is only 30 mins if you want to venture out a bit. We beach combed, jumped waves, built sand castles, surfed, ate, drank, relaxed, bought souvenirs, hiked, played board games (some even provided fot doen times).. really.. what else is there?! Next year’s stay was booked before we even checked out!
