Our family enjoyed the cabin immensely with all the cozy perks and the remarkable views of the mountains. Thank you for opening the beautiful cabin to our family and your attention to detail. We loved it!
Beautiful spot. The view was amazing and the house was huge. The layout also provided great separation from the top and lower levels, and they had alot of board games, foosball table etc. to keep everyone happy!

Beautiful mountain retreat
This home has a beautiful view of the mountains and has a split floor plan providing privacy to main floor guests.
The cabin is in excellent condition and is loaded with everything you may need.
All you need is food!
My family was traveling with our friends and their kids- this cabin was incredibly spacious for 10 people. It had everything needed for entertaining both kids and adults- a huge collection of games and hot tub! We would definitely stay again. Make sure you have a four wheel drive to get up the driveway in the winter!!

Thank you so much for sharing. Our staff is always thrilled when we hear that a guest has had a great stay and enjoyed the property. This has always been our greatest motivator. We look forward to a revisit soon.
Stayed in the property during the 2nd week of June. Location is just as advertised - in between Boone and Blowing Rock; only ~5 minute drive to main street of Blowing Rock, and ~10-15 minutes to downtown Boone. House is roomy and open - very comfortable, with a wonderful deck which looks east and south from the mountainside. The bathrooms are functional, but probably need some updating before too long. Kitchen/dining/living area all flow together - very nice.

Thank you so much for sharing . We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the home. Cannot wait for a revisit. Take care
Close to town but also with very private balconies and a fabulous view of the mountains. The view is better in person than the pictures show. The house was clean and well stocked. The deck needs to be painted but is still serviceable. Lower the bird house to fill it and I promise you will have constant entertainment. Very convenient location as This house is only 8-9 minutes from down town Blowing Rock.
This property was just as described. The view from the deck was exactly what I was looking for in a rental. Beds were comfortable, shared space was large, kitchen was well-equipped. After a tough 2021, our extended family shared a peaceful weekend here. Mountain Remedy was just what we needed. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful white Christmas. Overall the house was comfortable and clean. Ceiling fans could use some dusting. Fireplace could use a grate.
We enjoyed this house! Plenty of space for our family of four plus our dog. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit! Kids liked their own space on the first floor. Well stocked kitchen. Easy and quick access to Main St., Blowing Rock and hiking trails. Fun time!

Mountain Remedy in Fall
Two couples stayed here during peak leaf season. The house was wonderful and met our expectations. With two master suites located on opposite sides of the main living area, it was perfect for two couples. The views, hot tub, and proximity to Blowing Rock, Boone, and the Blue Ridge Parkway were great as well. We would consider staying in this home again in the future.

Great Stay!
Great stay for group of 6 people. The hot tub was a hit, while watching the sunrise. Wish the weather held up for the fire pit, however, was a great option if the weather was better. The views were amazing and the beds were very comfortable. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful place for a family getaway!
You cannot beat the location of Mountain Remedy! We were only a short drive from downtown Blowing Rock and beautiful trails, both of which we took advantage of in the gorgeous fall weather. The house itself worked perfectly for our family - the kids loved the fire pit, and the swing out front, and the porch overlooking the mountains. Our pup had the BEST time running around and was completely exhausted every day after chasing all the sticks and leaves. For the adults? You can't beat the morning views from both master bedrooms - it's unbelievable.
We would absolutely come back to Mountain Remedy...matter of fact, we are already talking about it!

The Great Escape!!!
We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. The house layout is fantastic. The bedrooms, bathrooms, furniture, decor and appliances are nice and updated. The view is beautiful. The neighborhood is great.
We did have a few issues.
1) The dryer was broken; however, it was repaired quickly.
2) There is only one set of sheets per bedroom which in the case of a broken dryer, there needs to be an extra set of linens per bedroom. Same situation with the towels. We are a family of 4 so there was just enough towels for bathing, but not enough for the hot tub and bathing. In addition, we needed towels for white water rafting, but there were no extra towels. We needed to wash frequently. It was inconvenient not having enough towels for bathing, hot tub and doing an outside activity. I would have brought my own towels if I was notified in advance.
3) The microwave was FILTHY. Housekeeping definitely did NOT clean it prior to our arrival.
4) The master bedroom toilet was also FILTHY. When the toilet seat was lifted, you could see where the toilet was not cleaned. It was very upsetting.
5) The master bedroom hallway light is flickering.
6) The master bathroom heat vent blows dust.
7) The steps down to the fire pit crumbed underneath my husbands feet and he fell down!!!! Someone needs to replace those immediately and put a sign by the steps. It's very dangerous.
8) The garbage can under the kitchen sink was filled with empty garbage bag boxes. We had to break down those boxes in order to make space. Housekeeping clearly did not check under the kitchen sink garbage can.
9) Unfortunately, we left behind 3 items: a computer cord, an electronic toothbrush charging base (in master bath) and one gold chain earring (master bedroom dresser or on floor). I called customer service and they weren't very clear on when those items would be recovered. Please call me about when I can expect information about those items. Thank you so much! Overall, the stay was great and I would highly recommend and also return to the same property. Carolina Cabin Rentals did a great job. Thanks again. 305.528.2100

It was well maintained and supplied. There was not anything needed besides the items we brought in. All areas very comfortable. Storm door to Kitchen/family area may need adjusting ...seemed to want to slam....just for your information but no problem to us. We would definitely use again! We were particular about cleanliness this time and having a high risk pregnant daughter...very clean and we had our own Lysol spray/wipes. We loved the view.... even the beautiful rainbow. Hope to return soon!
Thanks so much for taking the time to share. Its our sincerest hope that you will come back and see us again.
