Northwoods Nook is a lovely and very quiet place in a spectacular landscape close to lots of great beaches and hiking trails. The cabin is well appointed and tastefully decorated - even has live green plants indoors! My wife an I are artists and found ourselves enchanted by the interior and exterior spaces. And there are no time pieces anywhere -a wall piece in the dining area says 'on Lake time' - very much the way we felt for eight days of rest and battery recharging. Bottom line - just exceptional.

We had a nice stay in this little cabin. We love driving up to Leg’s Inn and visiting the surrounding areas including Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The beach access does require climbing down many many steps. And then back up. The kind neighbor told us 168 steps I believe. Was worth it to watch the beautiful sunset. Needs a deep clean and maybe some bug traps are my suggestions.
