Perfectly imperfect family holiday home on the shores of Lake Rotoiti. The property has a large deck to spread out on, 6 seater outdoor table, BBQ. (Please note there are no railings around the decking so small children will need to be watched. There is a jetty on the property & boat launch access further down the road. Enjoy the peacefulness & the night sky which is perfect for stargazing. The birdlife is abundant on the property. It is a humble rustic 2 bedroom home & we are open to discussions about having tents pitched on the property with a maximum of 6 extra people though this will incur extra costs (you supply tents & bedding). Emery Store (1 km) is a small store that sells basic food supplies, fish'n chips. Central Rotorua is 27 km away. This whenua (land) has been in the family many many years & we have decided to share it with others, again perfectly imperfect. This is a new journey for us as a whanau (family).

Samantha & her family left the house very tidy & would have them as guests again.
AMAZING! This was an absolutely magical stay we will remember forever. Have everything you need and more in their beautiful whare. We came on a rather stormy weekend and ended up staying at the house all day exploring and enjoying the views. Jo and the Curtis whānau, thank you so much for your manaakitanga and homely touches to the whare and sharing your special whānau home with the world. Ngā mihi nuuuunui!

Why they chose this property
This land has been in the family for many generations & we have decided to share this home with others. We have grown up enjoying vacations here & now our children & grandchildren get to enjoy it.
What makes this property unique
180 degree view of Lake Rotoiti with plenty of land to ride bikes, set up a volleyball net or play touch rugby. Swimming is right at your door step. If you are fortunate enough to own a boat, take a trip over to Lake Rotoiti Hot Pools, Manupirua Bay which is only accessible by boat.
