House is old, but cool. Two bathrooms are in upstairs (with bedrooms) or in basement (with laundry & family room). Beds were pretty nice. Kitchen is tiny but sufficient. Host was great.Our only complaint is the front steps/sidewalk, which is dangerous (even more so in the dark). Please watch your step! Our daughter slipped on a dark, phantom step and broke her foot.

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter! The front porch has solar string lights and the front door has an automatic, motion-activated light, so I'm confused about how it could have happened due to being too dark. We take our guests' comfort and safety very seriously, so it's disappointing to get our first less than 5 star review when it effects our rating and business so critically. I wish we'd been given the opportunity to know about it and check the lighting and make things right. Again, I'm sorry to hear of this incident.

After a decade of staying at VRBOs, this home is among my favorites. It is ideally located, well equipped, spacious and bright, and quite charming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Wonderful property! A gorgeous home and neighborhood . You can walk to shops one direction or to the lake another direction. There is a bird in nest in the fake flower hanging basket on the front porch ! Keep in mind , there is many stairs in this house. You have to walk stairs for any bathroom or bedroom. Technically this has 4 levels. Anyone staying especially on the highest level should be good with stairs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was perfectly appointed. A great variety of essential spices and condiments were provided. Heating and cooling was great. Laundry facility was great. Bathrooms were very spacious and super clean.

The host was very welcoming - a sweet note and treats when we arrived. She was also very timely in her responses to my questions. The house was perfect for what we needed, plenty of beds and a great dining room table that we spent lots of time at. The location is perfect too, so close to the Lake and Hennepin area. We would definitely rent again!

Great Location

Comfortable beds, wonderful common area, tons of space. Great bathrooms! One bathroom is downstairs in the basement but it is huge and wonderfully remodeled and we were happy to have the extra shower. The location was walkable to large lake with recreation options and good restaurants.

Lovely home; great location

House was perfect for our group of 8. Plenty of room to all eat in the dining room and then relax in the living room. Bedrooms were neat and comfy. Would definitely stay here again.
