Opt for taking the charming streetcar down St. Charles Avenue and enjoy all the sites in between.
Many attractions can be enjoyed by foot, but for other means of transportation there are nearby blue bike share hubs.
Taxis and ride shares such as Uber and Lyft operate heavily in the area.
The St. Charles streetcar line is just one block away and can transport you up to the French Quarter or across to Riverbend.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was cleaned and well stocked. Bailey was only a text away with any information. My family not only cooked in house but we also were able to walk to a few restaurants. The St. Charles trolly is one strees over and can transport you towards the french quater. We had a great time!
Apartment was very clean and everything needed such as a Mr. Coffee maker, blender, toaster, and all kitchen eating and cooking necessities were all available.Location was perfect for the St. Charles Trolley, and the WW2 Museum was a 5-10 minute walk. The nearest Hop On Hop Off Bus Stop was located at the Museum, so it was very convenient for touring. Parking on the street was also very convenient and safe.Overall, it was an outstanding experience. Thank you!
The place was in a great location with lots of places within walking distance. The space was very comfortable for our family. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in New Orleans.
We stayed for 4 days and found this was the perfect place to explore NOLA and especially the Garden District area. It is very close proximity to all the best places in the city. The unit was clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were responsive and quick to assist when we had to extend our stay longer. Overall great stay!
This was our first trip to New Orleans and this home seemed to be in a safe location as well as a short distance from all the action. Will definitely stay here again!
The location was ideal and the host was super responsive to some family needs. Good coffee shop nearby for an easy morning walk and of course the streetcar access was perfect which took us to all the spots we wanted to go.
The place was absolutely charming and extremely clean. We mostly walked to the French Quarter and other sights as it was an easy, safe walk of about 30 minutes.
I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it.
Thank you for a lovely holiday.
We were in town for my sons graduation from Tulane. Great spot convenient to magazine street, Saint Charles , and downtown. Well equipped, clean and comfortable
Great stay for me and my youngest (14 yo)! Within easy walking distance of the WWII Museum, Ogden, art galleries and more. A one block walk to the St Charles Streetcar that we took to the Garden District and French Quarter—although we walked to the French Quarter too. Very nice, clean, and quiet place. Highly recommend
Great location. We were able to park on the street right by the house and leave the car for the entire stay. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and very easy to hop on the trolley and head towards the French Quarter one way and the Garden District the other.
The property was very well maintained. Our only issue was the very low water pressure, but you get that in cities.
Overall a terrific place!
Bailey’s home was PERFECT in every way! We had everything we needed; the house was super clean, comfortable, and modern. The location is amazing, close to so many restaurants, transportation, and the WWII museum. Bailey was an excellent host! He was available to us and responded right away when we had questions. We would 100% stay here again! A+++++++
We loved our stay here. Just enough space, nice and clean. But the real gem is the location! So easy to hop on the (crowded and sometime full) St. Charles streetcar. Walkable restaurant , coffee shops, drinks. We felt safe after dark. Adequate parking. All in all…great! We’d totally come back:)
First experience of a Host waiting until exact moment of check-in time to give door code. I thought I had overlooked the information somewhere. Caused anxiety. Cookware was rather skimpy, only 3 teaspoons provided 3 knives were missing, one bowl missing. Mattress seemed to be made of sponge material - we tended to both roll to center during the night, and slide off the edges when trying to sit on it. We did not have real good nights of sleep. There was no safety bar in the shower.

The door code was sent prior to check-in time just as was stated when the guest booked. There is nothing wrong with the cookware, and I even brought the guest extra silverware during the stay despite there being more than enough in the unit for a stay (especially with a dishwasher in there). Guests are always nothing but complimentary of the mattresses and lots of times even ask me for the specific type of mattress so that they can get one for themselves. And yes, there is no safety bar in the shower just as the pictures of the shower show.
It's a shame that the guest did not mention any of the positives that they shared with me privately such as the nice towels, the kitchen island setup, the kitchen fold-down table, or even that they did enjoy their stay.
