Beautiful quiet location

This was a great place to stay! Very well maintained and cleaned. A little tricky to find if you arrive after dark, but not a huge challenge at all. Very cute surrounding town with small businesses.

I was impressed with the cleanliness! My wife is one who is loves to clean, so We felt right at home. Everything cups, plates, utensil's, floors, and linens in pristine condition. We both agree this is where we stay the next time we are in Mars Hill NC

My husband and I loved staying in this cozy little cottage. You are able to explore the property and we saw a lot of deer and a beautiful sunset on the top of the hill! We were privileged to meet the host who was very kind, and the house was clean. Not to mention the complimentary coffee and wine!

We had a wonderful time during our stay here in this country cottage in Mars Hill. There was just enough room to suit our needs and we were only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. Completely satisfied.

Perfect little Mountain Cottage, Pack Tick Repellant

This place was so cozy and perfect!! Absolutely everything you need, clean, quiet, super easy to get to, just exactly what we were looking for. 10/10 on the house. The owner was super communicative and so nice! I feel they would have been very accomodating to anything we made a serious demand about. They even gave us a lovely little handwritten welcome note and goodie basket!! A word of warning about the grounds though: we walked up to the firepit area you can see in some of the listing photos ONCE for about 5 minutes and we were finding ticks crawling all over us for the rest of the evening (thankfully none latched, but we definitely found at least 5 across the two of us). The grass was all mowed down so I guess we just didnt think we needed to spray up just to walk 20feet there and back. The listing states that you are free to explore the grounds, but I would definitely not do that unless youre thoroughly protected against ticks.Other than that (which genuinely was such a small part, probably common knowledge to most people, and out of the owner's control) this place is perfect for a tucked away little home base for your travels!

Beautiful Home and Property

My wife and I really enjoyed our anniversary getaway to Mars Hill. The house and property were beautiful and exactly as described. The owners were friendly and checked in by the app a couple of times to see if we needed anything. The home is tucked away enough to feel secluded yet is only 5 minutes from Mars Hill , and 20 minutes from Asheville. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful updated cottage set on beautiful 50 acres. It was ideal location, just 20 minutes north of Asheville. We wanted a quiet and serene place near Asheville. It exceeded our expectations. I loved sitting under the covered fire pit and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening and my coffee early in the morning. It will be my go to place to stay when I visit Asheville.

We absolutely loved everything about this cottage. We decided to a girls trip and had a great time. The ladies loved it. The description is what to expect. The owner was very attentive of our needs. We even had a chance to meet her (a beautiful soul). The gift basket was a nice touch as well. Will definitely stay again.

Magical

My partner and I booked the cottage for a one-night last minute holiday getaway while passing through Asheville, and we were not disappointed! The cottage itself is sumptuously decorated and furnished, with a great kitchen. The farm is breathtaking! We hiked the hill to the fruit trees for a truly awe-inspiring view, enhanced by an encounter with a dozen or so deer. We only wish we had more time to explore. We enjoyed an al fresco dinner cooked over the firepit, and Anton was so kind as to bring us an extension plug so we could enjoy the (new!) fireplace and TV. Our visit coincided with a rare drop to single digit temperatures, and we woke to a fine snow falling the morning of our departure - just idyllic! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Very clean, great firepit and they even provided firewood which was unexpected. Host had accidentally given access to our booking to guests staying at their other property, but refunded 10% due to our delay in being able to unpack and get settled. Very apologetic and quickly remedied the problem.
