(CITQ Registration #007825)
The Space:
This just-renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment sits on the main floor of a charming 4-storey hotel lovingly converted into tourist apartments. The property is fully licensed for short-term rentals in Quebec, so you can book with complete peace of mind — no surprises, no cancellation worries.
Parking is conveniently located at the back of the building on Hébert Street. The entrance is off the rear of the building, which is raised a level — so there are actually no stairs to climb to get in, making arrival easy and stress-free!
Step inside to a welcoming little foyer — a great spot to kick off your shoes and settle in. The two bedrooms sit just off the entrance: one features a cozy queen bed, and the other offers two queen beds with its own ensuite bathroom, perfect for families or groups. Further in, a gorgeous stone-and-wood living room, dining area, and kitchen invite you to relax and feel right at home. At the back you'll find a spacious bathroom with a shower and laundry facilities, plus a second bathroom with both a shower and bathtub.
A small heads-up: the Jacuzzi tub is currently not in service.
Guest Access:
You'll have full, private access to the entire apartment for the duration of your stay. Self check-in instructions and everything you need to get settled will be sent to you ahead of your arrival.
The Neighborhood:
You've landed in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Canada! Just steps from the heart of Old Quebec, you're a 5-minute walk from the iconic Château Frontenac, and only 200 meters from the shops, restaurants, and bars along Rue Saint-Jean and Côte de la Fabrique. Despite being so central, the street itself is quiet and residential — our converted hotel is the only business around, so you get the best of both worlds: peaceful nights and vibrant days.
Getting Around:
Old Quebec is wonderfully walkable, and all the key attractions are right on your doorstep. For trips a little further afield, Uber and taxis are easy to grab and the most convenient way to get around the city. If you're arriving by car, parking can be tricky in the old city — but don't worry, your spot at the building has you covered!
Other Things to Note:
This apartment is fully licensed for short-term rentals in Quebec (CITQ #007825), giving you a secure, worry-free stay with no risk of last-minute cancellations due to local regulations.

Thank you for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the property and its great location. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in the future.
The apartment is in a great location allowing easy access to everything in the City. There is some wall construction outside the property (which the owner states very clearly upon booking), but the double- (or triple) paned windows blocked all the noise. Having a parking space with a 1-2 minute walk was also a great asset. The owner was extremely pleasant and quickly responded to our questions. It was a very nice experience.

We stayed for 4 nights in August 2026. Pros: Great location, easy walk to everything in Old Quebec City. Very nice to have a very close by outdoor parking space. The place was very clean and Quebec City is beautiful to explore on foot. It was great to have a washer and dryer and stocked kitchen with a dishwasher. Cons: The construction outside the bedroom windows is still going on as of August 2026 and seems like it will continue for quite some time as the pace of rebuilding the stone wall along the road is slow. There is no natural light in the family room and kitchen, as there are no windows anywhere but the bedrooms. The bedrooms face the road, so if you want natural light, there will be people walking right by your window. It was nice to not have to carry our luggage up any steps, but if you want anything with a view or natural light and you don’t have mobility issues, choose something up a few flights of steps in this part of the neighborhood.

This is the perfect centrally located place to explore Old Quebec. One can walk to literally everything. We had ages from 12 through 66, and this three-double-bed property accommodated our group very nicely. We cooked our breakfasts but ate out for all other meals. The nearby construction work was no problem at all, and the workers greeted us daily and were extremely nice. Highly recommend!

To no fault of the property there is a lot of construction going on, so was in street construction zone. I feel that it would be helpful to show pictures of the street view of property. I also wish there would have been secondary lock on door. This location is excellent for old town and we did appreciate that part very much!Very responsive hosts and that was also great!!

It’s great to hear you enjoyed the location near Old Town and found our responsiveness helpful. We also acknowledge your note about the secondary lock. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
Lovely apartment in the best location. We loved the fact that while it was freezing outside the inside was toasty warm

We enjoyed our stay at the property, just be mindful: 1. the property is right on a busy road (busy during the day, and it’s a one way street) so drop offs at the front door are difficult/ unsafe, if you have an elderly person with mobility issues in your party then dropping off at the front door won’t work that well. Fortunately the parking was close in terms of distance so we adjusted ourselves but just be mindful. 2. Parking spot: For me night of arrival was really difficult due to the parking (I couldn’t find it) you have to go around to another street - as mentioned it is a one way street, so if you miss a turn, you need to go back around the area to get back there. 3. There are many people walking the area during the day, just outside the window, therefore you do need to keep your curtains closed most of the time. There is also a lot of construction happening right now right front of the property it is not happening at night. 4. Shower ran either very hot or very cold, so this needs some adjustment, but we were able to make it work. Main positives for me: 1) in terms of proximity, the property is wonderful if you are a walker like me, it’s very close to Petit-Champlain and the main sites, very much enjoyed walks into town. In just a few minutes you are right at the heart of town…2) found the property very clean, and it has all the amenities (kitchen/laundry) you would need during your stay, everything is functional and again clean / well maintained.

Nice location, but with the bedrooms on the road, I would pass. If you want a vacation, do not book this apartment. The bedrooms are right up against the road, and construction on a stone fence has workers starting at 7 am every day. It doesn't look like they will be completed for weeks.
The drapes don't fully cover the bedroom windows, so people walking by your window can look in, and in the morning lights up the room.
The parking spot will only fit a compact car as well.

Thank you very much Janice! We are glad to know that you enjoyed your stay and you were a delight to host. We would be more than happy to welcome you back should you visit Quebec City again.
My family and I stayed here for a few days while visiting Quebec City. The apartment was much smaller than I anticipated, but it was still comfortable. The apartment’s proximity to all of the shops and restaurants in Old Quebec was perfect! You just walk down a hill and you’re there! There is also a parking spot in the back of the property for a car, but everything in Old Quebec is within walking distance. Just make sure to pack good walking shoes. My only complaint was that there was work being done right outside of the apartment, so there was a lot of noise that started early in the morning. Also, there is a somewhat busy narrow road in front of the building. Cars and tour busses zip through there often, so just be mindful when walking on that sidewalk. Despite these complaints, we did enjoy our time there, and would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Thank you for your detailed review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and your time in Old Quebec, and we appreciate your feedback about the noise and street traffic. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
It is a nice spot to stay as it is close to many of the sights. Very clean newer bathrooms. The rustic original stone walls were amazing next to the new refurbished walls. The only downside were small ants seen on the floors and construction right out your front windows, which is where the bedrooms are. We were given the incorrect number code to get into the apartment. Standing in the rain with the incorrect numbers was not fun. But after a phone call from the lobby we were given a correct code, so it did eventually work out.
I would still recommend staying there as the apartment is nice and with two full bathrooms and bedrooms . The kitchen area was very clean and had everything you could want.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’re glad you appreciated the location, the bathrooms, and the unique stone walls. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by the ants and the construction noise, as well as the trouble with the entry code in the rain. It’s good to know the kitchen and overall apartment met your needs. We appreciate your recommendation.
