Great location walking distance to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. Beautiful house with lovely back deck and front porch with a swing. The house has been recently renovated and is very nice inside. The kitchen is fully stocked for your holiday and the bathroom even had little soaps and supplies which the kids got a kick out of!The owner was very groans responsive when we had a question. Great stay and look forward to coming back sometime in the future!!
Wonderful as always with updated bathrooms, flooring, and fresh paint
This property is our go to in Beaufort! I believe this was our 4th stay. Very clean, lovely drenched in back yard. Wonderful upgrades. Donna and Scott are always very accommodating and quick to respond. We are looking forward to our next visit!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Broad Street Living!" The home is lovely, clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we could need. We especially enjoyed being walking distance from Taylor Creek and the shops and restaurants in downtown Beaufort. The ferry service to Shackleford Island is just a short walk away. Our last day says it all: We woke up early and enjoyed a cup of coffee on the back deck while we watched the variety of birds in the tree tops. We walked to Tayor Creek, passing by several well maintained historical homes from the 1700 and 1800s. Roses, lilies, purple irises and yellow irises were everywhere we looked. While we waited to board the ferry to Shackleford Island, we spotted wild horses on Carrot Island! Several families were already kayaking along the creek, getting a close look at the horses. Shackleford Island is awesome. We saw several wild horses on the island and lots of dolphins on the return trip to Beaufort. We had a great trip!
This was our third stay at Broad Street Living. It's probably "too much" house for the two of us and dog, but the fenced yard, the porch, the comfy beds, and the well-stocked kitchen mean we'll return as often as we can!
We love Beaufort - and this property was in a perfect location to enjoy it. Just a block from Ann St, and another couple of blocks to the waterfront, then a short walk to downtown. Quiet neighborhood, and great neighbors. The house itself had a great layout, with a complete set of everything you might need. We’ve been to Beaufort multiple times, and stayed in VRBO’s every time. This one is a keeper and we’ll be back.
We love Beaufort and stay at Broad Street often. Great location and house with everything you need for a great stay. We will be back soon I’m sure.

We had a wonderful family reunion in Beaufort and Broad Street Living was the perfect place for it! Clean, perfect location - with great outdoor spaces and common space. We all commented that it looked as large and roomy as the photos! Thank you to our excellent hosts.
Imagine our surprise when we got to the street that the house is on and it was closed for road work construction. Major infrastructure work is being done on this block. We had to find parking in the next block and carry all our luggage and supplies to the house. We contacted the owners and they were very apologetic and understanding. Even though we couldn't park at the house, we made it work. The owners adjusted our rent even though they could not control the situation. They did know there would be construction but did not think it would affect our house. One suggestion I would make is that they could have alerted us to the situation so we would not have been so distressed when we got there. With all that being said, the house was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable. The owners were really good. The icemaker was not working so they offered to DoorDash some ice to us. I thanked him but said it would not be necessary. I would suggest more silverware be provided. Overall, it was a great house and a great several days for us. Thank you for sharing your house with us.
The Broad Street house is just as described. The kitchen was generously stocked, including with helpful items like paper towels and plastic wrap - super nice. The internet worked well. The location was quiet and at the same time very convenient to the shore and multiple restaurants and stores. The back yard, while small, worked perfectly for our dog. We appreciated the ease of the keyless door lock and the off-street parking. Unfortunately the hosts do not control the weather and about a week after one of the locals commented, "we don't get snow here," it snowed 6 inches and shut everything down for two days. Oh well.
Everything about our stay at the property and the owners was excellent. My issue is totally on the VRBO app, it failed to update or refresh to place the actual door code needed to get in. very disappointing. The owners were great and got it corrected. The APP should function correctly
Neighbors were nice. Quiet neighborhood.
Super short bike ride to the center of town.
Saw and met many friendly people. Holloween was so much fun! The day of the dead event in town was a riot. The fishing was awesome.
I’m booking again next year if not again in two weeks!!
This was the perfect location for a weekend with my adult daughters! The house is perfect and very clean! The beds were comfy! We were able to walk to the waterfront and enjoyed many restaurants & shopping. The porch swing and rocking chairs were a great way to spend the evening relaxing!
Nice breezy front and back porches! House was well equipped. Very walkable and bikeable. Great being able to take our small dog. Close to grocery and pharmacy chains.
This is a wonderful location to stay in Beaufort. The location is perfect and the communication from the owner was perfect! Thank you for such a nice stay
This house was perfect for our stay in Beaufort. The house was clean and had everything we could need. It was super close to the downtown area which we loved. We will definitely be back in the future!
