If you were any closer you'd be IN the ocean! Enjoy your own private ocean front getaway overlooking the majestic Pacific Ocean where the views from both inside and out on the deck are breathtaking. Winter storms and the pounding surf cuddled up by the cozy fireplace or out beachcombing and sunsets...you can have it all.

Just a few steps and you will be walking on miles of sandy beach. Your private deck provides a 4-person hot tub to watch the picturesque sunsets, distant twinkling lights along the coastline and starry nights.

We list our cabin as a NO smoking and NO PETS environment so those with allergies can enjoy it too! Smoking outside on the deck is okay. Maximum 4 people including infants and children. A security camera is located on the porch by the front door and entry deck.

This cabin is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. King bed with flat screen television in bedroom and living room. Enjoy all the comforts of home while relaxing and taking in the spectacular view. Honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, reunion, or just some time away from it all... come, enjoy, relax... the beach awaits you. Enjoy the spa or barbecue with the fantastic view on the ocean front deck.

Beach view was incredible. Location was great. The place was clean and had plenty of room for the three of us. Only recommend recommendations that we would have is number one get some better knives and number two. The water pressure in the shower is almost 0 and needs to be increased.Isaac, the host worked really hard to help us with an issue on the hot tub and we appreciated that a lot.

Quick trip to coast

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. The place had literally all you need, very nicely decorated and felt homey. Check in is a breeze and the owner was easy to contact when our arrival was delayed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin and wonderful host!

We loved our stay here. Beautiful beach and a lovely cabin. We liked being close to both Brookings and Crescent City. The host is super helpful & answers your questions promptly. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft and all the beds were so comfy!

Our family of four had a wonderful spring break at the Ancient Mariner! The cabin was comfortable, and the deck was amazing! We had easy access to surfing and hiking while enjoying a whole lot of sunshine!

Surfing is good here at Pelican Beach and also South at Crescent City. Many people enjoy the Sandy Beach for walks and beachcombing. Others years are cabin as home base for exploring the Redwoods.
