We loved our time in this very well-appointed house. It was close to the beach entrance and the backyard was on the canal. We had a lovely, peaceful vacation. We are looking forward to returning.
We had a wonderful vacation week!
The house is always a great place to stay.
The fishing was great off the dock!! We caught several different species of fish, and a lot of keeper size fish.
I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone.
Everything we wanted. Clean house, quiet, close to beautiful beach, and fun fishing off the dock. Host had essential items and more. Cute A frame with a great location. We had a wonderful visit and will book again.
Despite a bevy of mosquitoes inside [!] and outside we loved the quiet of the canal, kayaked and fished in Alligator Bay and mostly "peaced out". Hosts very helpful in getting our [21 Palms rental] kayaks into the canal and out of the bay. Called us from THEIR vacation!

Clean and cozy. Our kids loved sleeping/hanging out in the loft. Enjoyed having the dock even though we didn’t have any luck with catching anything off of it but we made up for it fishing from the beach.
Great little A Frame. Area reminds me of Florida before it became so busy. House was perfect for the 6 of us, my wife and I our 2 adult sons and daughter in law. Was a perfect week of relaxing and fishing.
We loved our stay will definitely book again. I had broke my leg just before vacation and added 3 more days on too recoup . I fished from the dock and caught a 22 1/2 inch Redfish best medicine I could have received. The Host was great responding back to my request for the extra days.
This places is absolutely adorable. My ONLY complaint is- I don’t own it! I had such a wonderful time hanging out at my favorite little beach. My husband brought the boat over for a day and we explored dog island. The weather was amazing and I was sad to leave. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home, Jenna!
Cozy, well-apppointed A frame in ideal location was perfect for 2. The area abounds in interesting history and nature. All our questions were promptly answered by our host.
Well stocked kitchen, ample towels and blankets, and very comfortable bed. Wi-Fi was reliable.
Enjoyed watching river otters from dock, walking the nearby beach, and day trips: nearby Bald Point State Park was great birding spot, St. Mark’s refuge was well worth the hour drive, and Appalachicola provided an interesting day trip. Although as we anticipated February fishing wasn’t great, our charter with St. Mark’s outfitters gave us a very productive day with Cap’t Mike. Our rented kayaks from 21 Palms were promptly delivered and picked up by friendly, informative folks. The Seineyard in Panacea was recommended and didn’t disappoint.
Appreciated the pet friendly policy and next time Cooper will be with us.
Friendly owners, very clean, loved the location. Would definitely do again. Wifi was a bit spotty a few times, but it worked out great. Kids enjoyed everything about this vacation.
Good Ole Days! what a precious an A-frame with all the necessaries! My daughter and I stayed for her teacher’s spring break and we loved walking or riding bikes the short distance to the beach.
we hope to schedule another visit!
**** if not familiar w/Alligator Point, need to bring All provisions!! no groceries and at this time no restaurants**** but we Loved the total escape!❤️
This house and it’s location met our needs perfectly! We enjoyed fishing in the canal and a short walk to the beach! The house itself is unique and very comfortable! The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with! We appreciate the opportunity we had to enjoy the house and it’s location! Thanks!
Perfect house for a family of four, just as described and very clean! Our 5 year old son had the best time fishing off of the dock at night, he must have caught over 20 catfish. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!
This was a great property in a good location with easy access to the canal to the bay via the dock, and a short quarter-mile walk to the beach. The house was much bigger and roomier than I anticipated. It was very clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, extra linens, and daily necessities. The owners reached out prior to our stay to ensure the logistics of the house would work for our family. I was overall very pleased with the property. Really enjoyed the quick walk to the beach to watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Our stay was very pleasant.
This was the perfect location for our getaway. We have two dogs and the property was perfect. The weather did not cooperate most of the time. We had a lot of fun catching fish off the canal. The house was clean and well appointed. Plenty of towels and bedding. I would recommend highly to people who travel with their pups. As a note to travelers. Get your supplies and groceries in a larger town on the way. There is really no groceries "close" other than a dollar general store about 20 minutes away.
Suggestion. It would have been nice to have some sort of cover/gazebo/lean-to over the dock by the canal.
Complaint. They key box is in a horrible location and the battle to open/close in the rain was drenching.
We will absolutely look to book this property again in the future
We had a blast. House is precious. Clean. Well stocked. Lots of room. Just as advertised. Great communication. Dock is a total plus for boat owners. Close to the beach. Cannot wait to go back and make more precious memories.
