Bring your bags and escape to the West End of Galveston! This modern turnkey and newly renovated vacation home located in the Pirates’ Beach neighborhood offers vaulted ceilings with fresh natural lighting. The spacious centralized living area has a primary bedroom and en suite bathroom on one side with the guest rooms and bathroom on the other. With its large deck perfect for sunbathing and lounging, you can enjoy the outdoors anytime day or night. Enjoy time with friends and family in the downstairs area ready with charcoal grill and Ping-Pong table. Lounge in the hammocks or take a swing in the swinging bench. You have plenty of space for a relaxing getaway to the beach at the Pirates’ Bungalow. Just bring your swimsuits and enjoy all Galveston has to offer.

We offer almost everything you will need for a day at the beach, including a canopy tent, folding chairs, beach toys, boogie boards and a wagon to haul everything down to the sand. It is a quick 5 minute walk to get to the beach. We also provide beach towels to keep your packing to only the essentials. A refreshing spa-like outdoor shower downstairs will help you shake the sand and clean up before your evening activities.

To make sure you are fully rested for the next day of activities in the sun, we provide high quality and the softest bamboo linens and bedding, with brand new highly-rated memory foam mattresses on every bed. The updated bedrooms have room-darkening shades to give you a much needed break from a long day in the sun at the beach or in the bay.

The updated bathrooms are fully equipped with soft Turkish cotton towels, where you can take a relaxing shower with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree products, an aromatic line of botanical hair and body care products featuring natural tea tree extract.

The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances, and the essentials for cooking and entertaining. For those who start every morning with a cup of coffee, we offer a combination 12-cup carafe and K-cup coffee maker. Bring your favorite coffee grinds or K-cups. To stock up on groceries, there is a general store at the corner of the Pirates’ Beach entrance or a locally-owned Seven Seas Grocery just 4 miles away.

We do have three outdoor cameras, one in the carport, one in the driveway and one on the front door patio. This is for the security and protection of guests/hosts. There are no indoor cameras or recording devices.

Wonderful stay! Hoping to be back soon! Everything you'll need and more. Clean and minimalist. Games galore. Great correspondence with host. Beach toys and a wagon that is perfect for a day at the beach. So many amenities. I would give it 100 stars if possible. I am not exaggerating!

Relaxing and perfect!

Great communication, clean and kitchen had everything we needed to eat in. Just a few minute walk to the beach and place had plenty of beach toys, chairs, and tent to use. Loved the hammock and balcony sitting area- great place to enjoy a meal.

A solid house. Fantastic hosts!

I am not going talk much about the house - I rated it 5 stars - it met all my expectations. I just want to say that Jeff and Ashley are top tier owner/hosts. Helpful, quick to respond, and attentive. These are the people you want when you book a house. Not management companies running IKEA popups - real people who care about the house and experience their guests have.

We loved Pirates Beach as it wasn’t as crowded as the rest of the island it seemed (Spring Break). The hosts were super friendly and the house was just what we needed for a quick weekend at the beach :) Thank you! Would rent again for sure!

Very Clean

The place was very clean and nice. It was stocked with everything we needed. We had an event in Galveston so we weren't there much, but there were board games, a ping pong table, baby swing and plenty of seating to enjoy. Would stay here again.

Pirates Bungalow

My wife and I booked this cute bungalow, as we were having our roof replaced in Houston. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Close to the beach, like a 2 block walk, so we got our beach walks in and had a great time. Had internet issues, but we were refunded for that. Perfect beach house in Galveston

We loved our stay, it was the second year we rented this property. The hosts were very responsive when we asked to check in a little bit early, and everything was wonderful. All the things that matter when you’re traveling with kids are perfect here. They have a pack n play, extremely comfortable beds (high end sheets and towels) everything you’d need in the kitchen, beach toys, and more! Super clean, fresh and just nice all around. We love this place and will stay again!

Lovely

We had a great stay in June. The property is well-appointed. We especially loved the privacy of the outdoor shower and all the hooks for drying beach things. Loads of beach gear to borrow was a huge plus. We could easily drive and park with an elderly family member to one of multiple beach access points in the community. We also loved the shade downstairs and the hammocks. It was perfect for our family.

Perfect property for our small group!

This was a lovely, clean and comfortable property in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with a VERY SHORT walk to the beach. We were in town for the Ironman 70.3 race in Galveston and it ended up being a great spot — about 15 minutes away from the race start. One pleasant surprise was the locked laundry room we had access to on the first floor, which was a perfect place to store our bikes so we didn’t have to cart them upstairs or keep them in the house, but they were still secure. The property also had lots of bonuses that we didn’t use — grill, ping pong table, beach chairs, toys— but they would be great for someone having a beach vacation with kids. The hammocks on the ground floor made for lots of relaxing out of the sun, and the sofa and beds were all quite comfortable. All in all, a great property in Pirates Beach!

We have lived in the Houston area for almost 10 years, and we have been vacationing in Pirates Beach for many years. We had always dreamed of having a beach home in Galveston to enjoy with our family and friends, and now we are ecstatic to share our little slice of paradise with you.

Our home is recently purchased, newly renovated and features modern decor and new furnishings. We chose our home for the open concept floor plan, which is perfect for entertaining family and friends. The spacious deck, large outdoor spa-like shower, and abundance of windows providing brilliant light were amenities that we could not pass up. We hope you will enjoy everything our property has to offer.

What makes this property unique

We absolutely love the natural light in this space. Along with the clean and open feel, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy with family and friends. The outdoor spaces allow for the perfect amount sunbathing or winding down from the beach. The proximity to the beach, golf course, and local restaurants is unbeatable. We cannot wait to host you.
